  I cant see wenger going for him to be honest. I think van persie will most likely be headed to italy or germany.

  What? We don't need RvP anymore? He may have declined a lot but he won't be leaving any time soon that's for sure. He's one of our only 3 senior strikers after all and one of them is here on a loan with option to buy for a shit tonne of monies. Add to that that LvG is pretty much his Dad I think it's safe to say there is more chance of di Maria leaving than RvP!

  Did anyone else see Fellainis Zindine Zidane skills, they were pretty awesome, just as Zidane would have done for Real Madrid all those years ago!!!

  Manchester City have now won five out of the last six Manchester derbies against United after a 1-0 victory at the Etihad on Sunday, but unlike the previous games the Red Devils – even with one man down – were giving the Premier League champions a run for their money.
  
  Yes, there were some bad refereeing decisions which could have made it a more comfortable victory for the Citizens, but United were playing like the United of old… with pace and accuracy.
  
  So after the fixture, who were the winners and losers from the Manchester derby?

  Well, City scored more goals than us so i'm pretty sure they won.

  So LvG today confirmed that Rafael, Jones, Evans, Rojo & Falcao will 100% miss the game through injury and of course Smalling is suspended. Yay. He also made comments about our formation which makes it seems like the diamond has been 100% abandoned which is a real shame if so as it got the most out of di Maria. Still, my prediciton for tomorrow:

  LvG has always said that he doesn't believe in experience and will always go for who does better in training regardless of age and experience but Carrick looked really solid against City in defence and i'd definitely have him over Blackett and Thorpe. Carrick & McNair were both pretty solid against City aswell so yeah, it just makes too much sense to me. There's also been talk of Wilson getting a start which I really hope is true.

  But van Persie's fit, right? It'd be a massive call to leave him on the bench and play Wilson instead. You'd think that Mata playing in behind with Rooney up top would come higher up the list of options too. Interesting.

  Yeah he's fit but he hasn't been great. Wilson's also been on fire in the reserves and definitely deserves a start, heck the last time he got a start in the first team he scored 2 goals against a similar level of opposition. As for Mata and Rooney, Mata hasn't really hit the heights of his Chelsea days yet and Rooney, at this moment in time, is more useful to us as a #10/CM where he is able to run back and help out the defence.
  
  The backline is a real concern. I'm gutted that Ralf isn't back more than anything to be honest though.
