ive always thought rooney was quality, but he is well overated. he isn't world class and wouldn't even get in the premier league 11. if they turn down 40 mil for him they are crazy.

Fellaini is a huge lump of a man but he can play an loos a meacing in that nmidfiel i think he is gonnabe a big hit in this defensive role for utd.

I think he's better further up the pitch, but with Utd being well stocked in that department I suppose it'll have be the holding role. £27.5m seems a lot to spend on someone you'll then play out of position...

i think the midfield pairing with carrick should be quality. they should play a midfireld three with kagawa as the attacking midfielder with fellani carrick deeper.

It will be a few months before we see how significant the win on Saturday was but for me that second half performance at Sunderland might just jump start their season into something better than it seemed to be after the west brom defeat

You can't predict much at this point in the season. Sunderland are rock bottom right now but they may be able to turn things round with their new manager and finish mid table. Will Martin Jol be the next manager to be sacked? Maybe. I don't think United will win the league but that's been said many times before with them winning it in the end. It will be interesting to see who does win the league and who ends up getting relegated.

i'm sure this will end up being really close between a few teams challenging for the title come the end for the season. there's no real stand out team.

A little something to brighten these dark, dark days at Old Trafford...

Adnan Januzaj has just signed a 5-year deal. The youngster was due to be out of contract at the end of the season and naturally, after one good performance, there were plenty of other top clubs sniffing around.

Locked down now though, panic over.
