  I can't for the life of me figure out why we've signed Rojo before he's even got his bloody work permit. What if he can't get one? Loan him out? Well fucking done. The people at the top have a lot of explaining to do.

  Should be a formality though right? He was a regular for Argentina at the World Cup so even if he hasn't played enough games for them the powers that be will most likely make an exception. There seems to be more common sense with it all these days.

  Deal rumoured to be £56m rising to a potential £63.9m. I'd say that's fair, £20m more than Ozil and £25m less than Bale sounds about right. Will be interesting to see if LvG sticks with 3-5-2 or goes to his preferred 4-3-3. I'd personally like to see:

  To all the people raving about Di Maria, in my opinion he is a fantastic player, but has one gaping flaw in his game that will mean he struggles in the Barclays Premier League. Strength. He will glide past players like they're not there if teams are unable to work this out. However, with the slightest bit of contact, he will be knocked off the ball, either fairly or unfairly. He'll score a few goals, and get some assists, but in my opinion, will ultimately be a flop. Sorry to all the ex glory hunting Manchester United fans, I think you should change to being a blue from now on :/

  Very disapointing performance today. Injuries of course didn't help but today confirmed for me that Young & Cleverley have to go. Young I had reasonable hopes for after his fantastic pre season but he's reverted back to his usual shite self. As for Clevz... well.
  
  di Maria will be a nice boost but for the love of god we have to sort CM out.

  Watched Man Utd again on Sunday and this was nearly the strongest side that LVG could put out with his current squad and one thing is for sure this is not s side that is going to win the PL this season. LVG says that every time he moves to a new club it takes around three months for his methods to sink in and start to work with his new squad . Well if things stay as they are in three motnhs all chances of PL will be long gone .If things go the wrong way it may even mean no CL next season either. Di Maria looks to be signing for £63.5 million which sadly is way over the odds but almost inevitable that MU have to pay like this to attract any really high quality players. He may well be a great success but he is also going to bring in problems were other players like Mata will fit in. This could be another difficult season

  It wasn't our strongest side at all. Rafael, Evans, Shaw, Carrick & Herrera were all out injured, RvP was playing his first game since the world cup and Welbeck & Januzaj came off the bench...oh and Rojo is still in work permit limbo.
  
  As for di Maria I don't get why people think we're overpaying. The guy is one of the top 5 wingers in the world, of course he's going to command a fee of £50m+. It's the going rate for world class players these days whether we like it or not. In any case, latest i've seen on the price is that it's £48m up front with £15m performance related add ons. I think that's fair for a player of di Maria's calibre. Heck, the way I see it is we've finally replaced Ronaldo!

  Being widely reported (so much so that the following is 99% confirmed) that di Maria is ours. Announcement is set for tomorrow, fee is £59.7m.
