I do think you've kind of got a valid point in there somewhere. A week ago everyone thought they were invincible, now not so much.
Beating them's a big psychological boosts for Liverpool and United obviously, but it'll probably encourage other teams in the league to have a go at them too.
As I said, this year's gone. Next season could be interesting though. -

Yes every year the same things said again and again.The same thing happens every year the same ol same ol are talked about saying its their year.Man city spending millions on nothings not givng it to the homeless up there(which is everywhere up there).How can you still have enthusiasm ? its like putting a record on repeat.Its not sour grapes its just pundits think they know it all but know fuck all and not one speaks the truth. -

Funny ol game All that hard work last week by Utd and its them who hands the title to City by being very complacent and Spurs being very poor.Oh well the title going up north again how exciting 
Probably West Broms very last victory in the premiership 
and the best if you live in the blue half of Manchester

After last week I expected Man U to batter WBA but today's result shows the balance of power has moved. Mourinho needs to move on before his reputation is ruined by several hundred million more pounds worth of players who opted not to go to PSG, Barca and Madrid. -

A mid-table Prem side can expect to attract a far higher calibre of player now than they could have 10 or 15 years ago, so it's difficult to see how the standard is dropping.
It's just that the top 5/6 or whatever have pulled away even more, which means there's less points to go around.
And because of the sheer amount of money in the league now, a team like Huddersfield can come up, spend £50m like it's nothing, take points off the traditional mid-table sides and hold their own. Even 5 years ago it'd have been a £15m outlay and 25 point season at best.
So yeah, the top end of the table has distorted it, but it's just as much about the rest of the league being so evenly matched.
