  Which do you prefer?
  This thread is just out of curiosity really because i don`t like Macs and i think i know about one person who prefers Macs over Pcs/Laptops,
  but i was wondering how many on here do actually prefer them.

  Totally agree mate, i`ve had to use macs a few times in college, either last year or the year before can`t remember exactly, anyway i just couldn`t use them, they didn`t seem to want to cooperate with anything i was trying to do, really annoying.

  PCs or Linux. Have tried Macs, find that they are more about looking fancy that actually being able to things easily.

  For me I would love a mac simply to have my apple stuff on there so they are protected other then that I think they are too expensive for me so I will stick with my laptop nd ps3 that's all I need

  Exactly, it`s like they care more about how they look and that the image of apple rather than actually making them easy to use or user friendly, i can safely say i would never buy a mac, i would never be able to use it would be a waste of money.

  I use a MAC and have had no problems at all there very easy to use, the sad part about them is theres fewer apps than on a PC, but i think i get around that problem ok :)
  
  So yep i'm more than happy and btw this MAC i have had nearly 2 years and i think its crashed once, so how many PC uses can say that ;)

  Well my pc has crashed but something about me means any technology i use starts to self destruct so that doesn`t really mean much,
  I never found them easy at all, but each to their own really, from my experience though i had more issues than macs when only using them for a short time than i ever had using a pc.

  For work purposes i would say a PC is better as its more versatile but for home use MAC, i know many who work with PC's on a daily and get home and use a MAC, but thats not a luxury everybody has :( btw i have bootcamp on this so have the option of using Windows or changing to Linux.

  I own a mac and I've never had a problem with it. I bought it two years ago, I was very apprehensive about it to start with but it's honestly the best thing I could have done. They are so easy to use these days (not like the classic macs) and menu and options are as straightforward as it's ever been.
  
  If you're thinking about buying a mac, but not sure it's worth it, inwould say go for it. You won't regret it, I don't!
