Premier League vs Man Utd (A): 0-3
Great result and a fantastic performance away from home versus our biggest rivals. This was always going to be Slot's first big test, regardless of our and their form prior to the match, and he passed it with flying colours. We managed the game brilliantly with our use of the ball, and the defensive attributes as a collective when we didn't have the ball. Trent was unlucky that his goal celebration homage to Gerrard was chalked off due to Mo being offside, but Luis soon put us in front after that and then doubled our lead just before the break. Mo took his goal with aplomb and continues his ridiculous goal scoring streak at Old Trafford. Ali pulled off a few saves to maintain our record as the only team now in the league to have not conceded a goal. Buying Chiesa and Mamardashvili was very frugal business. The loans will help our youngsters develop and the sales were of great economic benefit. The new Champions League format gave us a slightly tough draw but with the two "toughest" teams in our group having to come to Anfield makes is slightly easier.
I'm feeling generous, everyone can get a boss rating. -

Premier League vs Forest (H): 0-1
Our winning and clean sheet streak was bound to end sooner or later. Credit to Forest they made it tough for us and took their chance when it arrived. We looked fine off the ball for the majority of the game. The part that was disappointing was our final pass. Everyone just couldn't find a teammate in the final third. Luis and Alexis probably had our best chances of the match in the first half. Our subs in the second half didn't quite give us the spark we needed. I'm sure Arne and the players will learn from this and get things back on track.

Champions League vs AC Milan (A): 1-3
After a disappointing result on the weekend, it was far from ideal to go a goal down in the first five minutes but we fought back for a well deserved victory. All things considered, after we conceded we woke up and never really looked under much trouble for the remainder of the game. We carved out numerous chances in the first half and were slightly unlucky to have only scored two, then in the second half we slightly took our foot off the gas. Ibou and Virg took their goals really well and it was good to see us scoring from set pieces again. Dom worked his socks off and deserved his goal. Cody looked sharp and eager to make an impression with his first start of the season. Fede come off the bench to make his debut too, which was nice.

Premier League vs Bournemouth (H): 3-0
Credit to Bournemouth that put us under pressure from the first to the last minute and tried to capitalise on our sloppy start. Thankfully their goal was ruled out for offside and we then woke up. Luis took both his goals brilliantly and Darwin's was a work of art. Caoimhin pulled off a few crucial saves, and Ibou did the same with his blocks. It was good to see Fede make his Anfield debut and test the keeper with his first touch.

Every single one of those players are a legend of the game, and amongst the best ever to play in each of their positions. Italian teams of the eighties, nineties and noughties were full of world class talent, even the mid table teams. All the money and prestige is in the PL now, as opposed to it previously being in Italy and Spain. I still don't know how we beat that Milan team in the 2005 CL Final, but in the 2007 CL Final we should've won that, we just didn't capitalise on our dominance in the first half. Pennant could've won MOTM in that game. Rafa Benitez was a tactical genius. -

League Cup vs West Ham (H): 5-1
We got a pretty tough draw in this round in comparison to some other PL teams, and going a goal down early wasn't ideal, but we stuck at it and got a good result and performance in the end. Jarrell was unlucky to concede that own goal, we should've cleared the corner earlier. Diogo is took his two goals really well, he's such a natural and instinctive finisher. Curtis did brilliant to start and assist Diogo's second goal. Fede's acrobatic shot attempt was poached on quickly by Diogo for his first goal. Mo does what Mo always does and that's either score or assist. Cody is unlucky Luis is in such sharp form because he's taken his form from the Euros and continued it into this season. Coaimhin continues to prove why he's the best second choice keeper in the world.

Premier League vs Wolves (A): 1-2
Despite them being at the bottom of the league, going away to Wolves is never a walk in the park for any team and every point needs to be ground out and fought for. Thankfully we did that, and only really conceded due to our own sloppiness, and then we tightened back up. To be honest overall Alisson didn't really have to do much throughout the game. We were just a little slack with our passing, which allowed Wolves to have periods in the game where their crowd raised their voices. Ibou did brilliant to score his first goal, but should've cleared the ball leading up to their equalizer. Mo tucked away his penalty ruthlessly.

Champions League vs Bologna (H): 2-0
It wasn't as easy and straightforward as many people might've thought it would be. We started brightly and got an early goal, which was beautifully set up by Mo and then finished by Alexis. Then we got a little sloppy for ten minutes and then closed out the first half back in control. The second half started relatively fine, they tried to grab an equalizer then we brought on Diogo and he played a part in the sublime finish that Mo produced to increase our lead. Alisson pulled off a couple saves to keep our clean sheet.

Premier League vs Crystal Palace (A): 0-1
It's nice to get another win and remain top of the league before the international break. Selhurst Park is never an easy game for any team and the second half proved it. Losing Alisson to injury was a downside to the victory but Vito stepped up on his debut. Alexis picking up a knock was unfortunate too. Kostas and Cody did really well in the build up to Diogo's goal. We had a few chances to increase our lead but when called upon our defence stayed solid and kept our clean sheet.
