  Agree HLB, very good start to my mind, going to Chelsea and winning 2-1 with such dominance and yet your striker was not in the game at all is some feat and shows the attacking threat you have from midfield. Chelsea looked overwhelmed and off balance from your pressing game, top marks all round

  I saw a stat that said Lallana had run 12km in the game and most of that was from pressing the ball and making the opposition make mistakes to lead to a counter attack, that's pretty good going and if we still had Rodgers that stat would probably be half, so it goes to show how almost a year after Klopp took over the pressing game has become well rounded. I'm not sure whats happened with Sturridge, he seems good off the pitch but on it he doesn't seem to click but I guess if Mane, Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana all play well, our striking option is saved. I'm excited to see how our season plays out, the game against Man City on NYE could be a good one to watch, especially if the league is still close at that point.

  All Liverpool can do is keep winning and the rest of the picture will take care of itself, if Citeh prove unstoppable then fair enough but I think top 4 is a real possibility for Liverpool this season

  I'm hopeful we can get top 4, we should do easily if we carry on the way we are. Its the best start to the season for Liverpool in 20 years or something so that goes to show how well its gone. City will be a tough team to beat, especially if De Bruyne and Sterling keep up how they are. I think we can do it though, title might be a push to get but I guess with football, anything can happen, so there's a chance...

  Its fucking disgusting really how the media gets on Arsenes back not winning a premiership trophy for years when the team here has won fuck all,they only won the champions league after finishing 5th in the premiership and they wouldn't have done that if Bolton had won one more game

  Cracking start though, especially considering 4 out your 5 games have been away from home and against some tough opposition.  
  
  But the Burnley result shows there's still some inconsistency, and I reckon there'll be a few too many of those for a proper title challenge.  Top four's looking good though.

  Ah yes...the standard thing all Liverpool fans say haha. I know what you mean though, can't get too ahead of ourselves even after 5 games into the season. Its not set in stone considering theres another 33 games still to go but if this good fortune and results carry on the way they are then things are looking good. The Burnley game was a disapointment, nothing more than can be done now than to put it behind us and see what happens in the near future. We always seem to go easy on the lower teams in the bpl and I think that complacency now has to go. Happened too many times last season where we didn't play well and ended up losing bad and the game vs Burnley resurfaced this. But as for the start, Im happy, 4/5 away from home and got great results vs Arsenal, Chelsea and Leicester. Onward with the season now...

  I think the top four picture could be the real drama this season, it's earlier in the season but the football that Citeh are playing is looking very unanimous for the rest of the league. Liverpool, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton all are in the picture currently but I imagine two of the six will drop off by January unless they all take points off each other

  I think this might turn out to be one of the closest top 4 finishes we've had in a while, I know we're only a few games in but it's really difficult to say what might actually happen with season. Everton are having a blinder so far so they could be in contention for top 6, I dont think they'll keep the run going, Spurs might struggle now Kane is out for a few months and that Janssen reminds me of Soldado so they could be in trouble. By the end of the start of december we should start to see the teams competing for top 4.
