Unfortunately, I watched the whole game live last night, including the penalties.
In truth, Liverpool were nowhere near good enough, especially against League 2 opposition at home, plus with the team put out.
Nothing against Carlisle - they were magnificent, as were their fans, and their club and Keith Curle deserve so much credit for their performance.
However, for that Liverpool team to be LABOURING through 120 minutes of Football, then scrape through on penalties, very poor indeed!
However, we're through, and a home tie against Bournemouth awaits.
Even before last night, I do not know 1 person who still wants Brendan in charge.
I have no doubt that we have the players to help challenge for Top 4 and maybe other trophies - just not the right manager now.
Hopefully, FSG will change their opinion on Brendan soon, as they like him, they liked his "dossier" and he is part of their "project". A change of manager may well be what we need, and soon! -

Yep. You'd fancy Klopp or Ancelotti to do alright with that squad.

Defo agree, Scotty. Klopp seems to be top of the list of many people's preferred manager, with Ancelotti next. Either of them would do, both have proven European pedigree, with excellent records at previous clubs.
I think failure to beat Villa, failure to beat Sion in the Europa League, then defeat in the derby at Goodison, and it's game over, goodnight for Brendan! The pressure would be enormous, if that pattern of results emerges. -

I reckon Liverpool might get a draw against Everton though :P And a slight win against Villa. I just think Rodgers will get some draws and a few fortunate wins to keep him in the job until things get alot better. Next thing you know he is manager of the season and has just won the league... :P -
