  Premier League vs Man City (H): 2-0
  We passed another test with flying colours. Despite the recent injuries to Ibou and Connor, to go along with Ali, Diogo and Fede. The return of Trent and Harvey are blessings. We came out the gates all guns blazing and were unlucky not to have scored more in the first half. Mo set up Cody perfectly for the opener. Second half we picked them off on the counter and that's how we got the penalty that Mo tucked away. Joe was outstanding at the back.

  Premier League vs Newcastle (A): 3-3
  Well I'm glad that's over. We were far from our best but stuck in there to get a point. Mo took his goals beautifully and so did Curtis. It was disappointing to look so vulnerable defensively but that's understandable given our current injuries to Ibou, Connor, Ali and Kostas.

  Champions League vs Girona (A): 0-1
  It wasn't pretty or easy but we ground out another win to maintain our one hundred percent record at this stage of the competition. Alisson  was back and we probably made him work more than I would've liked but he deserved his clean sheet. Mo was quiet but stepped up when we needed him. It was good to see Harvey back on the pitch.

  Premier League vs Fulham (H): 2-2
  It wasn't the easiest or prettiest of games but all things considered, I'm happy to take a point. Andy deserved his red but some of the other decisions by the ref were strange. Cody and Diogo took their goals brilliantly. Hopefully we can keep the latter fit from now until the end of the season. It was nice to see Chiesa make the bench. Getting Ibou, Connor and Kostas fit again is crucial too.

  League Cup vs Southampton (A): 1-2
  Similar to the league game, it wasn't easy at all, but we stuck at it and ground out a hard fought victory. Credit to all the youngsters that stepped up when we needed them to. The senior players all did a great job too. Darwin's goal will hopefully give him a confidence boost and Harvey's goal is perfect for his return from injury. Endo did really well at centre back. It was good to see Jayden, Kostas and Fede make their returns from injury. The latter was unlucky not to score his first goal for us after having a shot cleared off the line and the follow up then blocked for a corner.

  Premier League vs Spurs (A): 3-6
  That was a bit bonkers. First half we were outstanding, except for the sloppy mistake we caused to allow them to pull one back. Trent's assist for Lucho was inch perfect. Alexis popping up to grab the second was well deserved. Second half we started on fire, with Dom and Mo twice getting on the scoresheet. Fair play to Spurs they kept going and grabbed a couple. Then Lucho sealed the victory with his second.

  Premier League vs Leicester (H): 3-1
  Not the best of starts, with us conceding so early but it gave us time to get back into it. Cody scored at the perfect time just before half time. Second half we came out all guns blazing and took the lead through Curtis' poaching in the box. Mo sealed the three points with a sublime finish.

  Premier League vs West Ham (A): 0-5
  That is amongst one of the best performances and results we've had so far this season. Off the ball we we're really sold and limited them to only a small handful of chances, where Ali didn't have to really make a save. On the ball we were really sharp and ruthless in front of goal. Mo is fire and was unlucky not to score more. Diogo took his goal ruthlessly. Cody is really on a strong run of for. Luis was so clinical with his finish. I loved Trent's goal celebration. The only downside is Joe's hamstring injury. Jarrell stepped up and Ibou will hopefully be back soon. It was nice to be able to sub Cody and Ryan early.

  Premier League vs Man Utd (H): 2-2
  Form always goes out the window in these games, and today proved that point. We played OK but we lacked our usual game intelligence and intensity, which our opponents capitalised on. The goals we conceded were sloppy. Cody took his goal with aplomb and Mo rifled in his penalty.

  League Cup semi-final 1st leg vs Spurs (A): 1-0
  First thing first and most importantly, I hope Bentacur is OK. Despite it being only our second loss of the season, it was still disappointing to lose the first leg. We just couldn't get our passing going at all, so fair play to Spurs for their pressing. We improved towards the end of the first half. Second half we seemed to struggle with our passing again until we made the subs, which was slightly strange. The big talking point will be if Bergvall should've got a second yellow before he scored the winner. Yes, it was a foul, so yeah he kinda shoulda been sent off. But I'm not surprised the ref didn't send him off. The main thing is that we need to step our game up in the second leg, which given that it's at Anfield then we hopefully will.
