Champions League semi final first leg vs Villareal (H) - 2-0

It wasn't an easy game, Villareal made it tough like I knew they would. Breaking down their compact defence took a bit of luck, but we got the win in the end. If we can keep it tight in the second leg and hit them on the counter, then hopefully we'll get to the final.

Alisson didn't have a save to make. TAA was solid. Konate was amazing. VVD was immense. Robbo was outstanding. Fabinho was great. Thiago was a maestro. Hendo was relentless. Mane took his goal clinically. Diaz was energetic. Salah was great.

It is a tricky game for them today potentially, early kick off after the midweek CL game and Newcastle are unbeaten at St James since the FA Cup third round as far as i can tell, they are still clearly the likely winners but I am sure City will prefer their away trip (and I say that as a Leeds fan too).

Premier League game 34 vs Newcastle (A) - 0-1

Newcastle were in a good run of form. We played on Wednesday and the early kick-off on Saturday wasn't ideal. But we rotated our starting eleven, and got the three points in the end. Keita took his goal beautifully. We could've grabbed a couple more goals with the chances we had. The way we limited them to very few chances and kept their crowd quiet was brilliant.

Alisson was solid. Gomez was great. Matip was good. VVD was solid. Robbo was great. Milner was relentless. Naby was great. Hendo was solid. Diaz was energetic. Jota was good. Mane was good. Salah was a threat. Thiago was calm.

Unbelievable. We've got to the final of every cup competition this season. Fair play to Villareal they came out all guns blazing in the first half. Luis Diaz has been an incredible signing. His introduction at the start of the second half was perfect.

Allison was solid. TAA got an assist. Konate was outstanding. VVD was solid. Robbo was good. Fabinho got a goal. Thiago was good. Naby was good. Mane got a goal. Salah was good. Jota was OK. Diaz was outstanding.

Premier League game 35 vs Spurs (H) - 1-1

We might still have a mathematical chance, but it's become very slim now to win the Premier League. We played OK, Spurs parked the bus.

Premier League game 36 vs Villa (A) - 1-2

Hard fought victory. Villa played well, but were fortunate to take the lead due to the offside flag not being put up. We got back into it straight away. And then grabbed all three points in the second half.

Alisson was solid. TAA was great. Matip was solid. VVD was calm. Tsimikas was good. Fabinho hopefully isn't injured. Haendo was solid. Naby was good. Jones was good. Thiago was calm. Mane was great. Diaz was great. Jota was good. Salah was good.

FA Cup final vs Chelsea (N) - 0-0 (5-6 penalties)

We played relatively well and could've won it before extra time. VVD and Salah going off injured was disappointing, but Matip and Jota stepped up to the plate. I'm so glad Tsimikas got the winning penalty, he's become a ***** hero so quickly. Alisson pulled off a massive penalty save and is unlucky not to be in contention for any of the player of the year awards. We need a favour from West Ham and Villa in order to win the Quadruple, but we've still had a great season regardless.

Premier League game 37 vs Southampton (A) - 1-2

It all comes down to the last game of the season. Hopefully Gerrard and Coutinho can do us a favour, but regardless of what happens on Sunday, I'm so proud of what htis squad have done so far this season. With so many changes after the FA Cup going to Southampton was never going to be easy, but we stuck at it and got the three points.

Alisson was solid. Gomez hopefully hasn't got a bad injury. Konate was solid. Matip got a goal. Tsimikas got an assist. Milner was great. Hendo was solid. Elliott was great. Jones was great. Minamino took his goal ruthlessly. Firmino was great. Jota was solid. Origi was solid.

Premier League game 38 vs Wolves (H) - 3-1

What a season. We gave it our all and pushed Man City all the way to the end, but it just wasn't enough. I'm still immensely proud of everyone at the club for what they've achieved this season. Winning both domestic cups, finishing second in the league and getting to the final of the Champions League is something that no other club has ever done. Wolves gave us a good game, and Villa put up a fight against Man City. I'm so happy that FSG have signed Klopp be our manager up until 2026 and are increasing the size of Anfield. The only downside is that Thiago might be injured for next week's champions league final. I still think we'll push Man city all the way again next season, despite them being owned by a country and just signing Haaland.

Champions League final vs Real Madrid (N) - 0-1

A disappointing result but a great performance. Courtois pulled off a blinder. I'm not gutted at all, because I know we'll still do the impossible as long as Klopp is our manager. We played 63 games this season and only lost 4 times. The scenes in the build up to the match were heart-breaking to see. UEFA, the French police and the stadium authorities need to be reprimanded for their handling of the situation. Our fans were outstanding and I hope they all got home safely. Today we'll have a chance to thank our men's and women's teams for all they've achieved since 2020 at our trophy parade and show them how much we love them, and how we'll give them our full support next season.
