Absolutely. To think that just over a year ago Liverpool were in a mess on and off the pitch and fast forward to today and they are flying. I dont buy into the whole "they dont have european games so are more fresh for each fixture" crap. At the beginning of the season, everyone knew liverpool didnt have europe to deal with yet not a single person predicted them to be where they are now. So I would rather give Brendan and the team credit instead of playing it down due to a lack of european football
I just find it funny that this Liverpool side gets highly praised (and rightly so, they've been fantastic this year) but when United win the league all you hear is how "average" the team is and how "they only won because the other teams were crap" (which quickly became "they only won because of Fergie" after SAF retired). -

BBIIIIIIGGGGGGGGG game for City tonight!!! If they win then surely its all over for Liverpool?? Sadly, I don't see City losing tonight, therefore, I don't see Liverpool winning the league! If anything is to blame for them this season, its their dodgy defending! If they can sort that out, then next year may possibly be theirs!! -

I dunno, next year is going to be a lot more difficult for them, Chelsea will surely sign the striker(s) they so desperately crave, Arsenal too & United are sure to get the midfielder(s) we desperately crave. They won't have the bonus of being able to concentrate solely on the league next season either what with them getting CL football again. Next season is going to be a real battle -

Granted the other teams will make improvements to their weakest areas, I think Liverpool could maintain a similar sort of season next year if the strengthen at the back! Having said that, the overall strength of Chelsea right now is, in my opinion, better than Liverpool, just Chelsea don't have the strikers they need! I still think that Liverpool could have a decent go at winning the league next year though! -

Instead, their fragile defence collapsed completely at the first sign of serious pressure as Palace sent Selhurst Park wild with goals from Damien Delaney and a double from substitute Dwight Gayle.
Liverpool's point put them back on top of the table, but the sight of players on their haunches and an emotional Suarez - his face covered by his shirt as he was ushered towards the tunnel by captain Steven Gerrard and substitute Kolo Toure - told the tale.
Referee Mark Clattenburg only awarded a corner, and Liverpool were frustrated once more when Mamadou Sakho headed Gerrard's kick off target when completely unmarked.
Johnson was causing problems down Palace's left flank, and he should have put Liverpool ahead when he found himself clear on the end of Allen's raking long pass, but his header beat home keeper Julian Speroni and the bar. -

Steven Gerrard: Liverpool can win Premier League title next year
Captain Steven Gerrard believes runners-up Liverpool will win the Premier League title before he retires.
The Reds challenged until the final day of this season but, despite a 2-1 win over Newcastle, finished two points behind champions Manchester City.
"This experience is going to take us to the title," Gerrard, 33, told LFC TV. "Whether it is next year or the year after, it will happen pretty soon.
"I've only got a couple of years left but I still believe I can get there." LIKE FUCK THEY WILL,I DONT THINK SO,NOWAY, NOT NOW, NOT EVER -
