I'm a fan of their music and i'm sure there are others on the forum who like them too,
although i heard something which is not so good apparently howard jones has left Killswitch, they're going to have a hard time replacing him i think.
    Any other fans on here?

they won't have a hard time replacing him at all, Howard Jones was just a replacement for Jesse Leach.

some of their stuff has been good, and they're pretty decent live but i don't rate them that highly as most of their stuff is just mediocre and nothing special

Yeah they did replace Jesse Leach, but Howard Jones was with the band longer and was with them as they got more popular, they were getting popular when jesse was still with the band but Howard Jones is more recognised as their lead singer.

only by people who didn't know them before he joined, i mean my last serenade will always be my favourite song they did and that was leach, so he'll always be the best with them as far as i'm concerned, plus when i first watched them live it was with leach. although when i saw howard live it was at the short lived kerrang weekend so that was seriously cool as it was so tiny and all the bands hung out with the crowed after.

it was at the kerrang weekender i ended up at a party with shadows fall and amen among others in a little chalet as it was at a butlins or one of those types of places

Yeah thats what i mean for the fans who only really heard them after howard joined it will be say harder to like a new singer as much as opposed to those that were listening when leach was still the singer.

I've never been to the kerrang weekender sounds like it was good mate.

it was fucking amazing! but i think they only ever did two, possibly just one. as my mates and i were going to go if they ever did it again but never heard of it, was quite a while ago as well, was actually back when howard first joined killswitch.

I'm not much of a KSE fan (or the whole 'metalcore' genre in general tbh) but I do prefer the Jesse Leach stuff to the Howard Jones stuff. 'Alive or Just Breathing' was a decent enough album, but i thought the 'The End of Heartache' was a pretty disappointing follow up.

The End of Heartache is actually my favourite killswitch album so far, although i do like both leach and howard i think that howard has the better voice, although the last song i heard from jesse leach, quite a few years back now, but one off the roadrunner united album that was really good one of the best on it.

even though as i said i have seen them live with howard, i'll always think of them as being best with leach, it was a shame he felt he had to leave as he was seriously good

Why was it he left in the first place, i don`t remember the reason he left?
Oh here is the song off roadrunner united with jesse leach singing
that was the last thing i heard of him really, but it`s a good song and i think his voice sounds like it has actually improved a bit and gotten stronger over time.
