  yea exactly. saying that his striking is basic is basically a compliment to him lol, but the kid can wrestle no doubt about that. if he continues being able to (just) make weight and improve his striking to where he's at least decent, then he's a problem for anyone. he's so strong, if he grabs you, you're in for a looong ass night...
  
  i think he should get the next title shot too. but i think the ufc favour cerrone... he's fighting myles jury next i think. think it's a bit early for myles, but we'll see..

  lol ye i think he should of got a title shot a while back but i know the ufc wont give him a title shot until he starts submitting,knocking out,and showiung more excitment in his fights cuz noway does ufc want to swap anothony pettis for khabib as champs always headline the ppv and khabib is not what people pay to see

  yea khabib in terms of draw power really only has one thing going for him - he starts shit - you know like he likes to push people at weigh ins and get a little feisty and such. but he doesn't speak english well (although he's improved a lot lately), he doesn't finish and he's not a technical striker. wouldn't put him on cereal box lol

  ye man exactly and with all these injurys dana defo not looking to put boring fighters in title fights,do u think jhabib would beat pettis? remember clay guida did with wrestling

  i think he could beat pettis you know. pettis moves well, hits accurately and relatively hard. so against cerrone, even if cerrone is bigger it's no problem cuz cerrone won't wrestle him. but if he can't land something BIG on khabib early, or if khabib eats it, then imagine khabib gets a good hold of pettis. i think that could be it. if pettis isn't slick and fast enough to get out of those holds, then basically khabib would just ragdoll him around for 5 rounds i think... he's so much bigger and stronger...
  
  and pettis DEFO doesn't wanna fight him - fuck it even milendez doesn't lol

  ye well i suppose it all depends on pettis and how much is take down defense has improved since the guida fight,cuz if guida could do that khabib will absolutely smother him

  well let's see what he does with milendez first then cuz i think right now milendez is better than guida as well. he's a really good wrestler, strong, durable, got a serious chin on him too. if he can take a few of pettis' strikes then pettis could be in for a long and gruelling fight...

  ye but lets notforget pettis has really good jujitsu and hes good off his back ,he submitted benson and no one has ever done that,but i see pettis finishing gilbert as tough as he is

  well we'll see i will respect pettis a LOT for being able to finish two of the toughest guys in the game to finish - both milendez and benson henderson, that would be some achievement. especially gilbert cuz i think he is a little better than benson...

  thing is with gilbert he doesnt throw kicks much so its easy for petiis to game plan for him being a heavy kicker,i think pettis is gona joe louzon gilbert in the 1st round
