so while i am on figures lets go back to the figure or excess deaths for this time of year. i mentioned that in most countries the extra deaths were actually lower than those reported for covid. except in the UK where the number is far higher ( now above 50,000 extra deaths ) well there are explanations for this. people are staying inside. the road deaths ( usually about 10 a day ) will be fewer. people getting drunk and falling in canals. getting into fights . the black kids in london will not be shooting and stabbing each other ( yes i did just say that ) so there will be many areas where death goes down. so the 50000 extra deaths could well be all covid related and in fact there could be many more. the doctors have been threatened with whistleblower penalties (not quite as bad as russia though where they have been several doctors apparently defenestrated , do not trust their survival rates ) so we have a picture of a government that hides true figures. tries to convince us that it is safe to end the lockdown 'people SHOULD go to work' when we know there is a massive infection rate in areas of the country that boris johnson does not seem bothered about.

the first 2 questions on today's briefing could have been lifted straight from this thread. the second concerned how they could allow people in from france without quarantine, and it was ducked . not even cleverly. the business secretary just said they were negotiating with Macron. the first question concerned Yorkshire and the North East ( from Peter. Peter if you are a reader , hello good job ) and that was ducked too. he said they were looking at releasing the 'R' number by location , when and why not now.
did anyone see the 'R' number. they release them for the week . remember 4 weeks ago the R number was 0.6 and our caring PM said it was too high. too much of a risk. well last week it was between 0.7 and 1 . and we keep being told how bad will be if it gets above 1 but they are unconcerned and pressing ahead with relaxing the lockdown.
do you know what they call the virus in the states? they call it the 'BOOMER REMOVER' as it wipes out the baby boomer generation ( 1946 - 1964 ). do i take it that this generation ( who worked. paid taxes. raised children ) are disposable in the North of England. there were areas in the UK where they had patients of 56 years age with covid and they put 'DO NOT RESUSCITATE" on their medical records. the PM was 55 did he have a DNR. No of course not, why would he . he is a southern multi-millionaire.

so . when boris Johnson announced an easing of the lockdown and people 'should ' be going back to work. he did this a few days after we hit the 30,000 dead mark ( officially at least ) so there would have been no great clamour if a couple of days later we had gone to that milestone. also it was on a sunday ( how he expected workers and employers to sort all that out by monday - it was later moved to start wednesday ) a bank holiday sunday at that so all the figures were low . that day the next and the next. we still have this ridiculous celebration each sunday and monday ' the lowest figures since,,,,"
and those graphs . how ridiculous when they take into account the weekend dip. how about they do a weekly chart ? so we can see the line actually going down. from around 4000 a week to 3500 and lower and then people can actually see how fast it is improving .

so the french medics are now threatening to sue their government because of lack of PPE. lack of PPE that sounds familiar. in the UK there has just been a report out saying that 3/4 of all uk deaths could have been averted with an earlier lockdown, sir ian boyd of SAGE ( scientific advisory group for emergencies ) was critical of BJ's decision to lockdown later. as was Jamie Jenkins former hear of the ONS who said his own statistics show that even 1 week earlier ( before cheltenham festival and the liverpool madrid game ) would have no doubt saved lives and our deaths would have been along the lines of Germany. according to his figures the deaths in the UK are 62% above expectations.

okay new from the sunday papers
Figures from the Imperial College suggest the number of new daily infections had hit 286,528 by the time the lockdown was introduced in the UK.

A source who was involved in advising Downing Street at the time claimed herd immunity had been central to government plans in late February and early March.

They told the Sunday Times: "There was always this message coming straight down of, ‘We’ve all got to get it."

And a government source added that lockdown was only started to be considered as an option at the start of March .

They said: "I think a sense of, ‘It can’t really be that bad’ was important in explaining the delay.

"I think an overarching concern — and why so much time was spent looking at alternatives involving mitigation and shielding — was that everyone, especially Chris Whitty, Patrick Vallance and the policy people, knew what the economic and social costs of lockdown would be."

But on Wednesday, March 11, Anthony Costello, professor of global health at University College London and a former World Health Organisation director, tweeted a stark warning.

He said: "We’re simply not doing enough now.

"We shd [sic] ban mass gatherings, close parliaments, alert all health workers about protective equipment and hygiene, close schools/colleges, promote home working wherever possible, and protect workers in the gig economy.

"Every day of delay will kill.”

    THEY WERE WARNED MARCH 11TH.
this is not some guy in a tv show warning that people are being taken over by aliens this is a professor of global health.

CRIMINAL ACTION ! when do we start the legal action.

Reported by the Sunday Times, a study by Edge Heath, a group that analyses NHS figures through data-modelling, claims the game led to 41 additional deaths between 25 and 35 days following the game.

Even boss Jurgen Klopp said it was "criminal" that the game went ahead according to rival Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti told Corriere dello Sport: "I spoke with Klopp a few days ago, he told me that the decision to play Liverpool-Atletico was a criminal act and I think he's right."

Edge Health also claim that the Cheltenham Festival, which controversially went ahead and attracted 250,000 spectators over the four days, also contributed to an additional 37 coronavirus-related deaths.

The Government suggested that they followed the advice available at the time.

Lockdown measures in England were introduced ten days after the annual festival.

these people are not crazy conspiracy theorist. they are not the ones when we say ' hindsight is a wonderful thing' they are people who knew before it happened. like almost everywhere else. look at denmark. immediate action. lockdown and as for keeping the economy going while people died they have actually harmed the economy more by forcing us to have a longer lock-down.
the tories have always been seen as the party to be trusted with the economy. can we now throw that in the dustbin. we need government to support and help people to improve the economy.

i seem to be railing against the world solely but i will continue while it appears everyone else regards the deaths of tens of thousands of people as nothing more than a speed bump in our economy.
what about the standard of journalism in this country. i mentioned earlier about BJ sayng about the covid in the water supply ( way to calm the people boris ) and no body even picked up on it.
the other week i saw Adam Boulton sky new interviewing some scientist adn boulton said "isn't it a fact that our infections are low and our mortality rate is low "
the scientist paused ( i think he was shocked ) and said "we have the highest infection rate in europe ( it was at the time ) and our mortality rate is sky high "
how the hell did adam boulton ask such a stupid question. does he not do research before interviews ? i have seen the same thing posted on facebook . maybe that is how bad the journos are here. see it on facebook and believe it. what an idiot
and today i have just watched BJ's conference. the Prime Minister in front of our press. did they ask him about recent reports saying 10's of thousand s of people are dead because of his stupidity. or about sending patients back into care homes when they had not been tested for covid adn spread teh virus through care homes killing thousands,,,,,
no, they asked him about cummings living by different rules to the rest of us. for god's sake this is not watergate , it is not more important than nailing a guy ( in this case the PM ) to the wall for the deaths of thousands . nothing is more important for journalists to get the truth about the deaths of thousands of British people. but they just want to score points of a PM who is a clown, an embarrassment , not fit for office . it is an open goal.
chase him out of office with facts about dead people.
when do we start the manslaughter charges ?

so tonight the journalists ramped up their ire on Cummings to show what a good job they are doing and how tough they are on politicos who do not play by the rules they themselves set. earnestly esposing the hypocrites.
come on. talk about shooting the wrong fox. okay if they want to have a go at Cummings it is one thing but it is hardly pulitzer prize winning journalism. how about they take the latest reports. the latest research and stick that to him and his lap dog Prime minister. show him a list of nearly 60,000 dead that the scientists tell us three quarters of which could have been averted. someone is blameworthy. culpable homicide , manslaughter more dead in one month than in 8 months of the blitz.by reckless disregard for the people of this country. but they let this fall. too hard for them to do the research which has already been done, instead they go for an easy target with moral indignation. like going after Al Capone on a tax evasion charge. or Pablo Escobar on a traffic violation.

okay. so my posts have not inspired anyone to go charging at downing street yelling ' i'm mad as hell and i am not going to take it anymore' . but lets try this one.
Cuba has reportedly developed 2 drugs which do not cure COVID nor are they a vaccine but they dramatically fight its affects and increase survival rates. but ,,,, because the US maintains a blockade against Cuba and the UK pretty much goes along with anything the US tells it to do we do not have access to these drugs. I know, This sounds like one of those conspiracy theory nuts. but this comes from Newsweek magazine. not to be honest i know nothing about 'Newsweek' It may be some crazy magazine promoting lies and nonsense i do not know.
but i do know ( and this is a fact you can take this to the bank ) that decades ago Cuba suffered a terrible meningitis epidemic with tens of thousands dead. so they invested in their healthcare to find a vaccine . which they did. but the US and the UK did not buy it because of the blockade. yes that is right our government allowed kids to die and get a horrible disease to cosy up to the US. the blockade was broken by Smith-Kline in 1999 and that is where we get the vaccine that kids in the UK take today.
now this story maybe just some journalist using the meningitis story to concoct a new one but,,,,, the cuban drugs were selected to treat the disease in China ( along with 30 other drugs )

“Some 80 percent of patients who end up in critical condition are dying. In Cuba, with the use of these drugs, 80 percent of those who end up in critical or serious condition are being saved,” President Miguel Diaz-Canel said on Thursday in a meeting shown on state television.

that was from the Cuban president so to be fair he is not an unbiased voice.
but we have cold hard facts and figures

the global death rate from COVID is over 6.5%

the UK death rate from COVID is over 14.5%

the CUBAN death rate is 4.2%

now you may say there is not much difference between 6.5 and 4.2 but work out what that difference is when you apply it to 5 million people.
so i urge all of you to contact your MP particularly those in the North East where the rate of infection ( and likelyhood of death ) is the highest in the UK. yeah you know who you are. those safe Labour seats of Sedgefiel. Darlington. Redcar, Stockton south, Bishop Auckand. go on contact your new tory MP and see if they will be prepared to go against the US in order to save your loved ones lives.

MANY PEOPLE WILL LOOK AT OUR SUCCESS. boris johnson.
    yeah i brought it back.
this government now treats us with such contempt that they do not even bother trying to hide their lies. they just come straight out with them. remember when Boris said they would be guided by the science and that when the 'r' number was 6 that was too high to loosen the lockdown. and then just a few weeks later the lockdown was loosened. 'people should be going back to work ' and it turned out the 'r' number was between 0. 3 and 0.9 ( it was 3 in London so that was okay ) and last week we had the prime minister saying they would be relaxing the lockdown further. and then the 'r' number came out and it is 0.9 just below the crucial figure of '1'. so obviously he cancelled plans to relax the lockdown , right ? wrong he went right on ahead with it. nothing to do with the figures . the science at all. we now have the scientists clearly stating that they give guidance and the government makes policy. that is as clear a statement that they have given different advice to what the government has put in place that you will ever see. the scientiists said ' this is a very dangerous time' ( not a time to relax lockdown then) 'do not tear the pants out of it' again the lockdown is not tough enough.
shall we go to the figures. you know i want to.
this country has as many new daily cases of the virus as Spain, Italy, France and Germany combined.
this country has as many daily deaths as the rest of europe combined ( i am excluding Russia )
just because we have seen other countries relaxing their lockdowns ( which they went into earlier ) does not mean to say we can relax ours. weeks ago i mentioned we should know the local 'r' number so we can 'BE ALERT' it was brought up in a press briefing and it was said from next week they would publish local 'r' numbers. how is that going. everyone aware of the 'r' number in their area ?
did you see matt hancock on the news being pressed on the failure of the track and trace. he was laughing so much i thought he should have been in the pleasure beach at Blackpool ( not that he has ever been there ) is it amusing to government ministers to fail when 60,000 people are dead and we are counting on them to get us out of this.

since i am talking about the easing of the lock-down let me just point out how absolutely stupid it was to announce it starts on a MONDAY , just after the weekend. the hottest of the year. you cannot go to see your family on a weekend sunny day but next monday is fine. do they really think people will stick to that. how will the police enforce it. charge people for being a day early. what will they charge them with ? premature endlockulation. 'sorry officer i thought i could last but i just got so excited i finished early. honestly it has never happened to me before'.
all it has done has brought about people breaking lock-down. undermining it and bringing about a general lack of respect for adhering to it, that with the Dominic Cummings thing, so in future lock-down will be a voluntary thing,
