Time for a little tour of weekend eating.

Friday lunch had to be a triple smashed patty with extra cheese and home made sauce.



After making that I was in the cooking mood so nipped to the butchers to buy a 2 inch thick ribeye and got it ready for the sous vide treatment, served with confit garlic oil potatoes and parmesan asparagus.

























Saturday was all junk food at a Halloween party so Sunday needed to be proper comfort food in the form of Beef Stew with suet dumplings.

It’s good old fashioned Friday night boozing! Probably one of the best bottles there is, the first Friday one.

Bao to the Broth in Hereford. Banging street food, was absolutely full after in this Beef in Wagyu fat and noodles with a raw egg yolk to stir in. The fries were amazing too.







These guys travelled to Japan to work in the ramen houses out there for months, totally worth a visit if you’re ever in that neck of the woods.

Can’t say I’m fully keen on the idea of this recipe, Sweet Potato Cassarole but it’s the first time I’ve seen my first 2 inspirations of learning to cook release the same recipe in the same week. Who wore it better?
