Okay, im going to drop films here that aren't so well known but are great, of course that's subjective but hopefully someone will discover a gem.

Feel free to add.

Enter Nowhere [2011] [90min Mystery/Thriller]
Dont watch the trailer, dont read the plot, just watch.

Before I Disappear [2014] [93min Drama]
At the lowest point of his life, Richie gets a call from his estranged sister, asking him to look after his eleven-year old niece, Sophia, for a few hours.

What We Do in the Shadows [2014] [86min Comedy/Horror]
Dont watch the trailer, dont read the plot, just watch. This movie is hilarious

This is the best i could do without ruining it

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil [2010] [89min Comedy/Horror]
Just fucking watch it, maybe get high

Good thread i like the idea of this, Have only watched Tucker & Dale and i agree bit of a ***** classic, Not the best at posting pictures etc but will be an avid reader of this thread.

I have not seen all of these. Good call on Tucker and Dale vs Evil. It was quite a while ago, so a little sketchy on the finer details but i do recall enjoying it. Im afraid we will have to agree to disagree on What we do in the shadows. I really liked the premise, the reviews were largely positive and despite watching almost half the movie i only laughed once (when the Nosferatu style vamp in the pic was first woken up for the meeting). A real shame but i just didnt enjoy it. I agree with wildbunch, good call on starting this thread. If i could only sus out how to post full size pics on the forum not just teeny tiny thumbnails.

Seen Tucker and Dale, really liked it, though if you haven't seen it and think you might want to, don't watch the trailer . It's filled with massive spoilers for important parts of the film.
I'd add Dead Silence to the hidden gems as well, a mostly unknown horror film, really good.

Hey Jesslloydfan. I take it thats the 2007 Dead Silence (about the ventriloquist). I have not seen it but the write up seems pretty good. Will have to check it out. Keeping with the horror theme, although i have set up a thread for it, i recommend the 2014 film Life after Beth. Its an indie zomromcom with John C reilly. Took a chance on it, had not even heard of it until recently, watched it the other day, brilliant (way, way better than warm bodies).

Yes it is the ventriloquist dummy one, it's definitely worth a watch, I bought it for three pound years ago (never heard of it before I saw it), and was a nice surprise.
A sci-fi film called mutant chronicles, I have no idea when it was released, but I think that's a hidden gem as well.

Thanks for the confirmation jesslloydfan. Assuming i can track it down i will give it a look see. Again, mutant chronicles, like Dead Silence, have never heard of it. Looking online though it does appear to have some proper acting pedigree involved. Another hidden gem id like to mention is called The Devils Business (2011). I saw it a little while ago on the Horror Channel. Am waiting for it to reappear so i can record it. A great hidden gem.

Safety not guaranteed and Ruby Sparks are really good movies. Other slightly unknowns worth a watch are:

Horns,
Snowpiercer (Everyone should see this movie),
Brick,
Love Me if You Dare,
Charlie Bartlet,
Le Weekend,
Chronicle,

Horns and Snowpiercer are two are two films are really want to see, Horns is based on a book i really like and have to check it out. Snowpiercer I found the trailer for just randomly at somepoint and thought it looked good but it didn't seem to get a wide cinema release.

@gymaddict69 yeah there is a few well known actors in Mutant chronicles.
