  Okay guys, a small survey here! Who, when playing online games, gets abuse from people they've never met? Honestly I only get it on one or two games, but in those it's almost every session, I'll either be told I'm shit and a faggot for playing crap, or that I'm a dick because I beat them by being "cheap". Sub question, how do we react to these messages?

  I`ve had this before, not often though luckily, i think it was when i was playing Call of duty modern warfare 2, some random guy just sent me a few messages saying just, i kill you, and one insulting me after because ironically it turned out i was near the top of the leader board and killed him many times and he was way at the bottom lol.

  lol well on xbox live i got a black avatar because im black obv so people dont really tell me im shit or a fag they just call me nigger money and all them 1s after i beat there ass on street fighter or fifa

  I love receiving shitty messages on games on my xbox, my best tips for replying is think outside the box and don't hold back they usually don't have the balls to reply then and even if they do there comebacks aint nothing compared to yours.
  
  Have to admit though i got waayyy too pissed off in the past on FIFA and kicked off once. I was pissed off and had to vent so i just let him have it. in the game i had like 70% possesion 23 shots on target hit the post 4 times had an onside goal disallowed (no over exaggeration) and he scored in the last minute off a shot deflection and there was nothing i could do :/. So i sent this guy just an abusive hateful anger filled dreadful message only for him to send back a voice message for me to find it was like a small squeeky boy who sounded like a 10 year old or something apologising to me and i can honestly say i have never felt so bad in all of my life i was soooo gutted and felt horrible. Moral of the story don't hate unless you're retaliating to some bell. haha

  See i never reply to people who send me messages like that, i basically just ignore them, and if it`s a football game then just try and score even more goals past them or if it`s shooting games kill them more, sends a very good message back without having to type anything lol.

  You're a better man than i haha. I always try and tell myself i won't reply but they always aggravate me so much and i just end up replying challenging them to another match/game of something and then in most cases crush them but i just havent grown a tolerance to it all as of yet.

  I love the abuse on games, its so funny being insulted by a 13 year old American twit, and even funnier that he thinks I'm bothered by it. Being told how crap I am at a game doesn't bother me, and I normally reply with:

  It can be difficult to ignore them, even though you know they don't know you and what they're saying is usually just nonsense! I try to respond in a way they don't expect, usually throws them off. I've had people go from telling me I'm a pussy who should die to adding me and telling me to pm them next time I'm on.

  you just have to ignore it. its normally just these nerdy guys who have nothing better to do with their lives than be online gangsters and live their lives behind a tv screen

  It is unreal how people feel the need to do it. I can get angry playing online, but I don't blame someone who's beating me, I blame myself for not being able to beat them! And often these people are only so good because they play it while people are out working for a living.
