  Hey blue55. There was something just so oddly familiar about this. I think im right in saying this is that 1994 classic, Stargate. Starring the legend that is Snake Plissken, no, sorry, Kurt Russell. There so should have been a proper film sequel to this.

  Can't say for certain, as i didn't put it up, but I'm 99% sure you are right with the Stargate guess. Happened to have Rewatched that again quite recently so it's pretty fresh in my memory. Without seeing faces I can't be totally sure though.

  Yup, you are indeed correct it is Stargate. Funny you should say that gymaddict as Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin have actually been green-lighted by MGM and Warner Bro's to re-make the 1994 classic and then do the two originally planned sequels they never got the chance to make back then. Won't be for a few years though as they are both working on Independence Day 2 first apparently.

  I an understand a sequel to Independece Day and a sequel or 2 to Stargate, but why do they feel the need to remake the original. Would be awesome though if some of the original actors were used in the remake as a nod to the original. Ok guys, heres another one. Another of my all time favourites.

  I think they felt it had been so long since the original movie it needed a whole reboot if they where going to create the sequels. Not sure about getting back like Kurt Russell or James Spader, however they are too old to play the title roles now I would think lol. Maybe put them in different roles as a nod to the original though.
  
  As for your picture clue, I am struggling with that one a bit.

  wow that's a weird one - so it looks like a zombie movie that was made before 2001?? but i don't know of one like that really...

  Jester62, you are correct. Lucio Fulci's 1979 masterpiece Zombi (or Zombie Flesh Eaters as it seems more commonly known in the uk). This is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favourite zombie movie to date (i even have an exact replica mask for fancy dress / halloween purposes of the zombie from the cover). Over to you mate. oh blue55, they have gotta bring back Kurt atleast. Think you mmay be right about playing the lead but has still gotta play an integral part. Will be interesting to see what the powers that be do with the special effects nowadays.
