GTA Five HELP!

Never really got into vid games but was given an Xbox 360 with a few games recently, getting into it, in fact as a gaming virgin im loving it, just got GTA V pre owned £22 from Play.com and thought id start it tonight, just had an hour on it and thought that'll do till tomorrow and thats where my problem arose, how the fuck do i save it? after much fuckn about going round in circles in the menu i found 'quick save' on the phone, clicked on it and quit game, put it straigt back on to see if it had saved but NO i was back in the postie/bank the prolog right at the very begining again, so whats the score? are there any gamers out there who can help? PLEASE!!! :( -

I remember on the old Sega master System 2 there were games that you just couldn't save! You had to play the buggers from start to finish and if you lost all your lives, that was it too! Not many games featured more than three continue attempts.

I remember this as a youngen... Once I got angry with Streets Of Rage on the Megadrive and pressed the off button in my anger. But my anger subsided BEFORE I took my finger off of the off button. So I had to find a heavy object to place on the off button, to stop it popping back up & shutting down the machine, whilst I continued to play. haha! -

Ha! I think I might have done the anger reset a couple of times. I also lost a few controllers to walls in an infantile rage. -

Cheers Lorro, id already found the 'quick save' on the cellphone but it didnt work, tryed it again just now and still no joy, but from the links you gave me i found out if you get Franklin back home to bed {ooer} the game saves as he sleeps!
I must say the language is rather colourful between Franklin and his ''Motha Fuckn Badass Nigga Homie'' no wonder all the kids are mad playing this kinda shit mannnn! :P
Gonna have to have a hour or two on it later, cheers again m8! -
