  Watched episode 19 of Gotham season 3 earlier this week (3 episodes to go and STILL no bloody sign of this great show appearing for its 3rd season on channel 5). As episodes go, it was a pretty darn solid one. Whilst im not the biggest fan of of a certain 'now villian' the episode was still a vey solid one (bloody difficult not to post spoilers). Was beginning to think this season had tamed a bit ass far as the gore level went..that was certainly rectified this episode.

  Well, skip a few episodes ahead and that it.season 3 all sewn up..with still no mention of a start date in the uk..its fucking atrocious. Any who, back to the show. The season was certainly a really good one, although personally, for me it peaked at the time of a certain fairground set episode..still thouroughly enjoyable. Not gonna spoil so suffice to say some rose, somedied, some died who given ertain reveals we can expect to see again. Certain events in the final episode seemed to potentially point towards this being the shows final seaon owing to floundering viewing numbers (gotta actually air the show..usually helps). Fortunatly and thhankfully season 4 has been greenlit so its all good in that respect.

  Having not seen a single episode of season 3 yet, i'm carefully avoiding reading most of the posts (not that it matters, since i've seen big spoilers already). But to add to the idiocy and uselessness of Channel 5, the US has given a return date for season 4, September 28. Just over two months away and still no confirmed showing date for season 3. To put it basically, if they started showing season 3 tomorrow at one a week (the usual pace) they'd be partway through season 3 as the 4th is showing in the US.

  Must admit have resorted to adding the seasons/boxset on to my Amazon wishlist and will end up buying them at some point in the future. Think Channel 5 may have burnt their bridges with the makers of Gotham hence why no announcement on its future and as for trying to put it on now it would be silly as suggested the US would be so far ahead that spoilers would be inevitable!

  Theres no justification for channel 5 pulling this stunt. They should allow other channels / networks pick up the rights if they are gonna be this lax, theres enough out there after all. Having a looksee online though and they are still referencing that season 3 will arrive over here..with absolutely no mention of a start date still. If you are just gonna take the plunge and invest in the lot on amazon, Burns72, it will be money well spent (i know im planning on buying the seasons to date on dvd when feasable). Have tried to be coy in my postings, in as far as too not put any spoilers. Bloody difficult though as there are some particually awesome episodes during season 3.

  Was given a site by someone on here that has films and TV series on it and one of the series that caught my eye was Gotham Season 3, so have decided to go back and revisit the whole lot one or two episodes a day time and commitment allowing! Have got a few other DVD's and boxsets to go through too eg Planet of the Apes films new not old ones for now and Better call Saul seasons 1 & 2.

  I'm just waiting for Netflix now, usually the seasons of Gotham appear on Netflix. Very late, but it's probably approaching the time it usually takes now anyway.
  I think Channel 5 are pulling the same crap they did with Sons of anarchy, quietly dropping it for no apparent reason. Apparently the programs about people on benefits and debt collectors are too important to interrupt.

  Christ I should apply for a job there I was a debt collector of sorts in my job of 25 years and now I have left am now on benefits, but only claiming Universal Credit no other claims like some do fill out every form for everything going! Still can't pay my rent and applying for jobs isn't as easy as it was with CV's and covering letters not many application forms to fill out like in 1989 when I was last out of work!

  Its admirable to want to do it all legit like, burn72 and hopefully Netflix (assuming you have that other wise thats a double blow), but if 5 and the such like are gonna continue to screw us and the which ever company/studio owns gotham doesnt cotton on and do something quick, then afraid doin it on the dodge appears to be the only way to go. Jesslloydfan..dont even get me started on the programming on channel 5 . Im assuming that no one watches the shit they broadcast the bulk of the time. That said, if the majority of folk in the uk are into that kinda programming, theres really no hope left foor the country. Ive just gotta decide what country to move to instead lol.

  Majority of shows on channel 5 are crap reality tv (Big brother etc), crappy Tory propaganda shows (otherwise known as the endless stream of shows of people on benefits) and i think the lowest point was i genuinely saw a "Can't pay we'll take it away" christmas special. Which sounds like the most depressing christmas special of anything ever. But no, they couldn't possibly fit Gotham into their jam packed schedule of crap.
