  im not sure who was played out of position for man utd, maybe smalling at right back, but he is pretty solid there usually. they clearly didn't have as much hunger or desire as city.

  Just out of interest, Moyes has been cut from about 66/1 to about 33/1 in 'The Next Manager To Leave' market... Betting's a silly thing really as there is no way I can see him having the chop, but there seems to be enough punters out there who's willing to take a gamble... and no, I'm not having any of it, even a quid...
  
  He has to take some stick for the defeat as does his players, hold your hands up and say 'We were shit, and we'll do better next game'... as I'm sure they will - who are the unlucky next opponents? West Brom I believe at Old Trafford...

  There's the small matter of Liverpool in the cup at Old Trafford Wednesday night too.
  
  Not going to do their points tally any good of course, but imagine the reaction if they lose that as well?
  
  Personally I think they'll win it. Big pressure though.

  i'd love to see the reaction of the fans at the end of match if liverpool beat them. i wonder if they will boo them if they put in another poor performance.

  There'd definitely be booing. Mickey Mouse cup or not, it's still Liverpool and to lose to them twice within the space of a month would be unthinkable...
