  i think it should have been good week/bad week/disaster with moyes and man utd in the final bracket. i know it's only one game but that was shocking stuff.

  Not a good result for Utd but i don't subscribe to the Moyes bashing that most are doing. This squad is good enogh to hang with the big boys they just have to step up.

  he needs at least a full season to be judged properly not 5 league games. he's only 5 off top and has 3 big games out off the way, but he needs to sort his tactics out.

  Perhaps they thought they played a 'class' team in the week and they didn't need to put in the extra effort for the City match??? In both cases they didn't...

  yeah leverkusen were pretty poor and utd weren't up for it at all yesterday where as city clearly were. city had more quality and desire in every postion.

  But if the squad is good enough then surely the manager needs to take responsibility for not reaching the level required?

  I'm with Rustee though, judge him after a season, not 5 games.

  to be fair the players didn't seem to be up for it at all. where was the rejuvenated wayne rooney, he had centre stage with van persie out, he was so poor.

  Shouldn't be the case for a derby match should it? But again, how much should the manager take responsibility for motivating his players?

  come on it's not a kids five a side friendly. if the players can't get up for that kind of match they shold be left in reserves til january and sold. he got his tactics wrong i'll agree that's down to him.

  Being played out of position and not knowing what you're meant to be doing could be mistaken for 'not being up for it' too.
