Scarlett Johansson's new movie Ghost in the Shell tells the story of a cyborg policewoman known as Motoko Kusanagi The Major in live-action adaptation.
There isn't too much happening in the action department but we do get a good look at the characters costume and it's nice to see that there are a few nods to the original animated movie.
Ghost in the Shell is due to hit the big screen March 2017. -

oh i got the anime its actually one of my favorite animes next to wicked city, i dont know really what to think of this the trailer it didnt show much, but im interested just off the strength of the anime -

Dony, there was 5, ultra-short, teaser trailers launched late last week.

yeah those was some short trailers lol but thanks anyway confusedcoyote, looks like they took that one big trailer and cut it up into 5 small trailers for some reason, looking forward to this -

The big trailer was glued together by a fan. It'll be a while until the first, official, trailer will hit. I'm sure that it will appear on the forum somewhere at that time. -

That trailer, or more correctly lots of teases for a trailer stuck together, look fairly promising but would have to see a full trailer to get a proper idea of the film though (also been meaning to check out the original anime as well). I know this has got a lot of flack for casting Scarlet in this but i think it could still work out good and i think some people forget that films like this are expensive and they want someone who can sell a film all over the world in the main role (which Scarlet can do). -

if your into anime then ghost in a shell is a must watch , im not even into anime like that i just like 3 or 4 animes that are out there, and this is one of them, check it out on netflix -

Last week saw this featurette hit that includes an interview with the director of the original anime. It's interesting because of what he says about Scarlett Johansson playing "The Major".
A lot of people don't like the idea of Scarlett playing such an iconic character but from the first trailer she does look like the perfect person to play the role.

i really cant wait to see this and im gona watch the anime right before i watch this movie, march cant come quick enough for me, really into anime and them doing a movie about ghost in the shell was a really good idea
