  I don't think that post would count to be honest mate, I don't think you met the 140 point criteria.. If you wish to accumulate points you need to post more than 140 characters

  yeah mate the other guys right you need atleast one hundred and fourty characters :@. yeah so you have to post something a bit longer to get points. oh by the way you get points for posting pictures as well.:D, but im not sure how to post pictures so im wondering if someone else could help me with that

  there's no need for the " :@ " the 140 characters was bought in becuase people abused the system by posting pointless coments/threads like the guy has done here, just to get points. if however you're an honest, rule abiding poster who wants to contribute worthwhile posts then you will find you get points easily. the points are a reward not a right after all

  Not that I want to vindicate this thread but could you verify the statement on the picture posting for me humiliateme? As you know I have been a member of the communit for a while now and like to think I have a good grasp of the forum rules and goings on etc. But I am unsure about the points for pictures. I know it used to give them but recently I don't seem to receive points for them anymore. Any ideas or is this a question for an admin?

  yeah it used to be the case that no matter how you up'd the picture you got an extra point, but it got changed to that you only receive a extra point for up'ing a picture if you use imagechunk to upload it. i know dVIOUS did announce that in this thread i believe https://forum.rampant.tv/showthread.php?tid=1054 but it was a subtle change to the rules that was easy to miss

  Ok then, thank you. I assume then it is 1 point per post with an infinite number of pictures? As opposed to 1 point per picture posted in an individual post?

  i'm not 100% as i don't use imagechunk myself, but i'm 99% sure that a normal post over 140 characters is 1 point, that same post with picture/s uploaded with imagechunk, no matter if it's one picture or 100, in it is worth two points
  
  if it worked that you got an extra point for every single picture in the thread i might have used imagechunk when i updated my paige turnah thread the other night and gotten myself a hundred or so extra points lol but then again i'm not bothered about the points really

  Well I will do some tests tomorrow and see what happens as I am pretty sure a couple of threads i've posted pictures (using imagechunk) in recently, alongside 140 characters of text, have only returned one point. Like you say its not a huge deal but I just remember pictures being 2 points in the past, like you seem too aswell.

  At the end of the day Rampant TV benefits massively from us posting.. If they are doing there website SEO correctly because its all about keywords and link building.. So as long as we don't post unqualifiable sentences that google will acknowledge as non-untrusted material its all a benefit for Rampant tv
