This tutorial will show you how to upload an image to ImageChunk.


For this tutorial, I will be using an image of Reon Kadena, which I saved to my Desktop.


Step One
Firstly,go to the ImageChunk homepage.



Then Click on the "Choose File" button.

And select my Image "Reon_Kadena.jpg" from my desktop:

And press the "Open" Button.


Step Two
In the next step, you need to choose a Thumbnail Size.

This is used as the display size for when you post it on the forums.
If you have a small image, its best to use a smaller thumbnail size, so that the image retains its integrity.
The image above of Reon Kadena is 360x360, whereas the images of ImageChunk are all 240x240.

Step Three
Upload Type has 2 options, public or private.

If you upload as public, the image will be available for anyone to use.
Private means no-one can view this image via imagechunk, they need to get the link from wherever it is you post your image.
In my opinion, it's usually always best to just make it public, as there is little reason for privacy.

Step Four
Press the "Submit" Button!


Step 5
Now your image will upload and you will see a new page with your image, full of various links.

For linking to this forum, you want to click in the box labelled "Thumbnail For Forums", right-click, and select "Copy".



Then to place it in a thread or post you are writing, simple right click the text box and press paste like this:


And the 2/3 lines of text that appear will be your image once you have posted your thread/reply!

Bump! For people who can't host images!
And a quick reminder that you get a point for containing and imagechunk image in your post!

Something has gone wrong with Imagechunk - all the pictures have disapperared! I think the fault is with imagechunk and not this forum as i can't see any of my pictures on their website.

Edit: It's OK now.

i dunno if this is the right place to ask but here goes,

i wasnt using imagechunk i was just putting a pic up from a website using the image upload tool on a post but it keeps coming up with a little red x and the url next to it.

anyone can help?

just notice that when I click on any icon like the image icon i get [undefined=undefined] and no option to add pic, link or anything.

On step 5 as I copy the link 'thumbnail to forum', I done that then I pasted it in the message but all that comes up from it is thumbnail to forums, it copy's the link but it copies thumbnail to forums on the left hand side.
I'm on a iPad btw, I'm confused.
