  Steven gerrard or Cristiano Ronaldo. i think they were most likely to get man of the match for their champions league final performances.

  Is it a slight trick question. I know when Liverpool played Chelsea in the league cup final Stevie G did score an own goal. It was the match that Terry was knocked out and nearly swallowed his tongue.

  Scotty is spot on, it is Didier Drogba! I'm glad it got people thinking though so can't have been a bad one

  It was a great question, a proper brain-wracker.
  
  I just figured that with the amount of domestic finals Chelsea have reached over the last few years that Drogba was the most likely.
  
  So, only two players have won the Premier League golden boot but not won a Premier League winners medal. Name them.

  wanted to say shearer but then had he moved on when blackburn nicked the title off utd in the early 90's

  I was going to suggest Michael Owen as I wasn't sure how many games he played for United, he is the only Premier League golden boot winner to win a league medal with splinters up his arse!!! :-)

  Kevin Phillips is a good shout Bickers but I wanna say Robbie Fowler he scored over 30 goals a season for a couple of years its just whether or not Shearer beat him in those seasons.

  i think shearer doesnt count think he has got a prem league winner's medal with blackburn early ish 90s
