  Would you believe it’s been forty years since we were first introduced to crazed psycho Michael Myers?! No one can forget his menacing and slow walk. It still gives me chills even now.
  
   
  
  Now the poster for the upcoming remake is here and even though it's pretty simple, it's very effective. Blumhouse Productions recently tweeted the the picture of Michael Myers' mask and it's rather grim.
  
  
  
  As you can see, Myers is rather weathered and wrinkled now. I suppose 40 years worth of murder sprees will do that to a person. Why can't he just retire and take up gardening like a normal pensioner?!
  
  
  
  Although this will be the 11th film in the franchise, this movie will be a loyal sequel to the 1978 John Carpenter classic so fans of the original film should be spaffing their pants over this info. Roll on October 19th!

  The whole idea doesn't scary to me anymore, there's just worse shit in the world that a knife wielding maniac. Someone getting all stabby can be seen in South East London chicken shops on the reg these days.

  mike myers has never scared me same for jason, freddy was a little more scary but these 2 slow walking mask wearing dudes is just not scary to me, but i will still watch it when it comes out

  I hope it's easier to sit through than the Rob Zombie reboot, that was painfully slow and Malcom McDowell should be ashamed of being a part of it.

  *cough cough* Errrm, excuse me................as a matter of factual notice, I actually thoroughly enjoyed (still do) the Rob Zombie Halloween remakes (the first more so than the second).

  Awh, i also enjoyed what ol' Rob did with the Halloween remakes. Come to think of it..been a real long while since i last watched those..time for a rewatch me thinks. I was never phased by the Michael Myers character either..still, the films were entertaining enough. Supposedly theres already been a test screening of this, aired to a select few..presume regular joe's and critics alike. Early impressions are not good. Too long apparently with way too much emphasis on ack stories, not enough killing. Infact, repors state that it's only in the tail end of the film that ol Mikey actually crops up. Its all well and good trying to emulate the feel/mood of the very 1st film..but not at the expense of boring people to tears..kinda takes away from it. Will eserve judgement for when i check it out myself..that said, i'll be checking this out at home.

  With the new Halloween movie on the cusp of release, a new trailer has just dropped that finally gives us a glimpse of what Michael Myers looks like under his creepy white mask. 
  
  
  
  According to Michael’s original psychiatrist, Doctor Loomis, the Halloween killer has a "blank, pale, emotionless face, and…the blackest eyes - the devil’s eyes." I know fans of the first movie will be like "but I've already seen his face" but this is a new film folks, so it's pretty exciting stuff. The original Mike Myers was played by Tony Moran back in 1978 and as far as I'm aware, he isn't set to return. Instead, this new movie sees actor Nick Castle take the lead. Castle played ‘masked Michael’ in John Carpenter’s Halloween 40 years ago and apparently has a scene with Jamie Lee Curtis in the new film.
   
  
  
  Director David Gordon Green made the decision to bring Castle back as he wanted to show fans how Michael has changed over the last four decades. Take a look at the trailer:
  
  
  
  This new movie will ignore all the other films and will be a direct sequel to the 1978 classic so fans of the original will be happy. Catch it in cinemas on October 19th.
