  i know there has been at least one bad batman film, but if the new one's rubbish it pretty much gurantee's that the rest of the ones in the reboot, however many that might be will be awful as well

  I actually prefer the new bond films to the older ones, like it alot better now that bond actually looks slightly believable as an agent rather than just posing constantly which is all brosnans bond ever seemed to do.
  
  I think the next batman film series would be a chance to include the fantasy elements and characters in it, i'd like to be like arkham asylum/city tone and story wise in regards to how they show batman and his enemies.

  the problems i have with the new bonds are that bond just seems like a bit of a pussy now for lack of a better word.
  
  i grew up with bond films that were just about a guy who always shagged his way through missions, had seriously cool gadgets and cars and they were just over the top and fun, the new bond films give the impression pretty much anyone could kick his arse and if i remember correctly he drove a bloody fiesta in one of them!
  
  also i remember being so bored in casino royale as it felt like the scene of them playing just went on forever, it may not of but it felt that way to me when i was watching it. if i wanted to watch a more believable spy type film i'd watch the bourne films as i think they have the perfect balance of not being stupidly over the top and yet not being so based in reality to be boring.
  
  another thing that gets me about the bond films, and it's not something i have a problem with in any other films but the bond films seem to be really bad with it, is that in some of the fights the camera cuts about so quickly that i honestly couldn't tell who was hitting who or what was going on untill the fight ended, as i said plenty of other films do this but the bond films were very bad for it.
  
  i know there are people who say "but the new bond films are more like the books" but i honestly don't care about that, it seems stupid to me that after about 20 or so films they change it so much.
  
  my post is a little longer than i intended but when i started on why i don't like the new bonds i just couldn't stop lol, although that being said there's a ton more reasons i could give as well

  I think in the newer ones bond actually seems tougher, because it shows he can actually cause damage to whoever he`s fighting, and i like that the character comes across as more human he always seemed like a 2d character in the others, or he became that way as they progressed before they restarted, but each to their own.

  yeah maybe, but at least in the old one's bond wasn't constantly getting the crap kicked out of him lol. i always thought of bond as being a sort of semi superhero in that he was better than a normal man, but in the new ones he just seems extremely normal and as i said it gives the impression that pretty much any thug with a bit of fighting skill could beat him, that's not what "the best spy we have" should be as far as i'm concerned

  I wouldn`t say he is constantly getting the crap kicked out of him lol he gets hit but he mostly kicks arse really, and still seems to be alot better than normal men are in a fight, they just didn`t make him quite as super human as he was before.

  that's not how i remember it to be honest mate, but as i think you might be able to tell im by no means a fan of the new ones

  Remembered another film series that i'm suprised i forgot about in my other posts on this thread, the night watch films, i like them, i'm still hoping they will make a third although that is probably very unlikely.

  i watched them both and i was seriously unimpressed, i couldn't even start to get interested in them so personally i won't mind at all if they don't make another and i can't see them making one anyway as i don't think the first two did very well at all

  They actually did pretty well, but since then the director Timur Bekmenbatov, at least i think that is how you spell his name, has gotten more well known and popular so he is more busy than he would of been before, so i doubt they will make another.

  I love watching movie and its one of my favorite hobby. I had many series like Lord of The Ring, Pirates Of Caribbean, Mission Impossible, Ice Age, Fast And Furious and many more but the my favorite film series is Pirates of Caribbean. I had seen all series of this film many times and I never got bored while watching the same series again and again.
