RE: Favourite Comedian
Another American stand up who I think is really good is Daniel Tosh.
Just one of the most sarcastic and cynical comedians around. Some of the stuff he comes with makes you wonder how he gets away with it. |

RE: Favourite Comedian
Bill Hicks is my all time favourite comedian, some of his stuff is timeless. The funniest one I've seen in person was Frank Skinner. Of the guys around now I like Ed Byrne and Rhod Gilbert

whats more funny than jimmy carrs laugh but for comedic value you cant look further than michael mcintyre and that legend geezer al murray.

RE: Favourite Comedian
al murray got old really quick for me, he was kind of funny at the start but the whole pub landlord thing is seriously boring now and his actual jokes aren't that funny
michael mcintyre i don't have a problem with, but i also don't understand how some people think he's the best ever, he's good but there's a lot better. jimmy carrs laugh just really annoys me as it's such a stupid laugh lol. i do quite like some of his stand up though but again he's not on my top list |

RE: Favourite Comedian
Many comedians get heckled during their performance. If they ever het stuck on how to deal with them, they don't need to look any further than Bill Hicks for some inspiration. This is how to do it:

As i've already said i really don't like michael mcintyre, also he seems to be the least liked comedian among other comedians. I quite like jimmy carr occasionaly although he is far from being my favourite. Regularly adding new modelling shots and caps of Jessica Lloyd to the forum, also have a few links to some of her vids if anyone wants to see them just message me and ask and i will message you the links back.

RE: Favourite Comedian
my favourite comedian has to be between peter kay and micheal Mcintyre but if i had to choose one it would be peter kay as he is the only one i have seen live and it was brilliant

RE: Favourite Comedian
I just don't get that whole Michael McIntyre or Peter Kay comedy stuff - it just does absolutely nothing for me whatsoever, especially Michael McIntyre, I actually feel uncomfortable watching him because he's so unfunny. Add Lee Evans and Sarah Millican to that list too.
As for my favourite, I'd probably have to say Stewart Lee, but I'm also a big fan of Doug Stanhope, Patton Oswalt, Jimmy Carr, Brian Posehn and Bill Hicks. I pretty much buy all their stuff and go and would happily pay to see any of them live (those who are still alive that is - RIP Bill) I also think Sean Lock is brilliant as a panellist (on shows like 8 out of 10 cats and QI) and in 15 Storeys High, but his stand up whilst pretty funny isn't anywhere near as good |
