EXPLORING 'THE MANDELA EFFECT'

EXPLORING 'THE MANDELA EFFECT'
Until now I had never even heard of The Mandela Effect but it's pretty fascinating. It is a term for where a group of people all misremember the same detail or event.

The Mandela Effect was first described online in 2010, by a blogger named Fiona Broome. Broome described an experience at a convention called Dragon Con, where she discovered that others had a false memory similar to hers, which was that Nelson Mandela had died during his imprisonment in the 1980s, when in fact he actually dies in 2013. Then she began noticing other examples:

That sounds very similar to False Memory Syndrome

Also you can add "Play it again Sam" from Casablanca to that list. Everyone thinks that Humphrey Bogart said it in the film but he didn't

REMEMBER: Little umbrellas help protect you from falling anvils but not massive blasts of cum at a bukkake party.

Some interesting ones in there but I'm not having the jump-off.

Literally no-one thinks that Nelson Mandela died in prison in the 80s.

Then why in the 80's were they giving away "Free Nelson Mandelas" to commemorate him. It was all over the news.

Imagine being in prison, dead, and being given away as promotional material all at the same time?

Rotten luck.

I hope you die in prison.

Right at the end of a particularly long sentence.

And you have to share a cell with Bickers and SweatyPalm.

RE: EXPLORING 'THE MANDELA EFFECT'
Many people remember Wagon Wheels being much bigger than they are now.

And I remember Harold Bishop dying on Neighbours, but apparently he didn't really. Same with Dirty Den on Eastenders.

end of post, Beam me up Scotty.

yeah old Harold was washed away by waves on the coast that were lapping at the rocks he was stood on but you never actually saw him fall in. Not sure how long after but he returned with amnesia. He may well have forgotten his wife but at least he found his way back to Ramsay Street.
