very risky, given how brittle the English players are, i suppose that point crossed his mind, who else do we take if we are only taking 3, and just off the top of my head i cant think of anyone else we would take besides Jaggers -

Was a time when we could choose between Terry, Ferdinand, Campbell, Carragher and Ledley King but we had fuck all going forward.
Now it seems to be the other way round. Still, shouldn't be short of goals (at both ends) in the England games this summer.
And to answer the 'who else' question, it'd have been Phil Jones if he was fit. Also not ideal. -

I think Rooney will be taken as a midfielder primarily so Rashford has a chance if he can impress Roy against Turkey and in training, if the knee injury is as expected not a factor. The big worry, as many have said, is the centre backs who I think could be the reason we don't have a serious chance of lifting the title. One player who might find himself a shock omission from the 23 might be Sterling as if Townsend has a better track record for England and might oust Sterling who has looked very poor since moving to City, especially in this calendar year -

After watching that game I think Alli will be a liability in France,,just hope he gets his act together and plays like he can :-/ -

Agreed Gooner, I thought the same thing. I noticed Dele Alli's lack of self discipline during the Premier League season and again during last nights England friendly.
Yes, he's a talented young player, but he's got a real weakness in his game that could prove fatal in a knockout tournament such as the Euros. Personally, I would most likely leave him out of the England squad this time, or at the very least think carefully about including him.
I believe the disadvantages of his indiscipline outweigh the advantages of his talent in a knockout event.
I also wasn't that impressed with the performance against Turkey. OK, it was a friendly game. But to me, England looked sloppy in attack and defense. I hope over the coming friendly games they sharpen up.
You'd think after so many years of penalty misses England would learn to get them right...but no!!!
There's still a lot of jerk to be done :) -

I think Sterling still needs to improve. I know he's lacked game time at Man City, but that seems partly his own fault. He has pace and gets in good positions, but it's the final pass or shot that ruins his own good work for me. As a player I can't see he's improved at all since joining Man City. I think better decision making and shooting accuracy is needed there.
I think overall we have good players up front and in midfield. But defensively, I believe we'll concede goals too easily against the big boys. I really hope this young team at least make the quarter finals. Too many times in the past when it comes time to deliver, England go down quicker than a tart on a minted punters greasy cock!
I can't wait for it all to kick off! As per every big football tournament, my fridge will be full of booze and I most certainly won't be adhering to the chief medical officers rather boring advice :) -

He should of known what would have happened if he signed for City, he wouldnt get the game time he wanted, especially with a tournament coming up,

Oh dear, the England injury bug seems to be resurfacing just before another tournament
Daniel Sturidge could miss the Euros after a injury he picked up in the Europa League Final, this could mean Rashford sneaks his way into the final squad going to the Euros
feel bad for him, cant catch a break with injuries!
