  Hi guys, was wondering if anybody else has watched any of the womens world cup? For those who don't know the women have qualified to the semi final which takes place tomorrow where they will be going up against the current world cup holders Japan. England beat Canada who are the host 2.1 in the previous match which was quite entertaining, the goals were good quality and turned out to ba a very competitive match

  Markus1976 has been watching the womens world cup :P
  Cant say ive watched any of it really.. Just doesnt have the oomph like mens football does, for me.
  I did however know that theyre into the semi's and are playing Japan next.. So good on them for getting that far. Maybe they can teach the England mens team and Roy a few lessons on how to play.
  At least some English sports people are doing our country justice and are actually doing well :P (There are some others which i cant name or cant remember)

  well done ace,good hit,great minds and all that,i was going to open this tomorrow,ive been following them alot but havnt watched this cos everytime i watch they do shit just like when i watch Maria in the tennis,she has a stinker,im fuuny like that lol,great performances so far very proud of em,especially with our gooneress miss Scott,what a player and looker she is,ive watched her alot at meadow park and met her just to say hi and all that,very nice she is,just hope they can put it altogether one more time and providing we get through and they get through ,stop the krauts from holding both world cups,come on you whites

  Good luck to the girls tonight, the nation is with you. Shame it's on so late and I am in work early tomorrow as well miss it all. Japan look a very good team so without sounding defeatist, if we do ourselves proud then I will be happy

  The English Teams are cursed, they played far better as Japan, but in the Injuredtime the Girls scored an own Goal.... :(
  
  What is wrong with the English Teams? The Wembley Goal is solved since 2010, so please litte Witch, take away the Curse.... lol

  Well even though they didnt get to the final and didnt beat japan i guess we could all still say well done to them for their efforts.
  An own goal in injury time is a bitter pill but thats life i guess. The same thing could have happened to japan or any other team in any other game.
  Even though i didnt watch it myself i still say bravo for their efforts.
  Now all we need is the other england teams to do better.

  so sad for the girls bigtime,at least there,s one consulation,its only a small one(that what all the girls say to me,no they dont really ha,okay they do) anyway back to what i was on about at least our players wont have to put up with them being smug and saying for the next god knows how many years,"we,ve won both world cups,what you lot won in terms of international tournaments"

  this is when the 3rd place play off is a complete sham and waste of everyones time,i bet all they want to do now is come home to their families and reflect,not play another meaningless 90minutes
