  Australia will resume on 47-1 with 9.3 overs played. Opener Phil Hughes is the '-1', just 2 runs for him before being caught by Carberry.

  Nicely done Ben Stokes, 2 quick wickets (Finch 26 and Wade - a golden duck) just as they start back to and it's now 54-3.
  
  With England on a roll, and if the weather holds up, they could and should come away with a win... Also the advantage of batting second should it become a reduced overs game... Unless they try to throw their wickets away again like last time!

  It's seemed to have just fizzled with any bang. After the euphoria of the Ashes win, it would be hard to get as excited really...
  Although to pull off a series win after being behind couldn't do them any harm, and the old cliché of giving them momentum going into the series down under...
  
  Oh, also congratulations to Sussex fast bowler Chris Jordan for his first cap and his first wicket too...

  After taking the batting Powerplay early and after 34 overs, the Aussies are 216-4 with Watson on 95 from 78 balls. George Bailey is also there on 1 from 8 as Michael Clarke had just become Jordan's second wicket, caught by KP for 75 runs.
  
  Watson and Clarke have almost been playing with impunity, placing boundaries all round the ground.. With 15 overs still to go now, 350 / 360 can be achieved by the Aussies, and I don't think England will chase that down!!!

  Perhaps I can turn my jinxing powers to some good, as Bailey has just been stumped... so I reckon the Aussies will make 400+ and bowl England out for 45 :)

  It seems that the Aussies can self implode too, with yet another game where they fail to bat out the full 50 overs as McKay falls to give Rankin a wicket, ending up with 298 all out from 49.1 overs
  
  Ben Stokes takes 5 wickets, and if England win, will undoubtedly be the MOM, if for no other reason than getting rid of Shane Watson (for 143)...
  
  England still with it all to do, they need to get a record chasing score here, so it will be crucial they get a good start... and a good middle... and a good ending ... :)
