I get why England are favourites, but I can’t help but feel that odds of 1/3 are taking advantage of our patriotism. If we’re playing win, lose or draw, then why not insure your misery with a couple of quid on Montenegro to win at 9/1? Stranger things have happened, and a lot of them didn’t even have Joe Hart in goal. 4/1 on the draw seems reasonable too. After all, that’s all we managed at their place.
On a more optimistic note, you can get 8/1 on a 3-0 win and 16s for 4-0, both seem just about do-able. We could as easily stutter though, so 3/1 on fewer than 1.5 goals in the match is intriguing too. BTTS is 23/20, if the state of our defence concerns you.
A lot has been said and written about Wayne Rooney’s form over the last few months, and while it’s been up and down for him at United, his form for England has been good. He’s found the net 8 times in his last 11 internationals so 9/2 on him to score first might be worth a go. Daniel Sturridge is slightly longer at 5/1 but despite his impressive goalscoring run at Liverpool, I’d sooner stick with Rooney. I do like the look of Rickie Lambert at 6/1, but then again I am massively biased.
Stevan Jovetic’s 12/1, one for the pessimists there…

they have to be that short because of their liabilities, think who much money has been placed on them here. i'm gonna do a scorecast to keep it interesting. sturridge 1-0. -

i haven't bet on it yet and glad i didn't now that i have seen england's lineup. i can see there being more goals tonght now, so might go for 2-1 england and maybe townsend first goal, should pay well. -

My tips weren't up to much either. Sure, I mentioned Rooney as first goalscorer, but it hardly makes me Russell Grant does it? -

lol, i bet on it in the end, but nothing major so didn't hurt my bank balance too much. it was more to make the game abit more interesting more than anything.
