  Anyone watch the England game? After that display against a 10 man estonia, i wouldnt be surprised if we were favourites going into euro 2016

  Same old year in year out tbh mate. We always get a ridiculously easy group for the qualifiers, which we still seem to make a meal of and then go in to the tournament without experiencing any real difficult games and therefore get a reality check when it does occur. I for one am more interested in my club team as I strongly support them every week and long may that continue as England are even more frustrating than spurs!

  The media don't help England much. The gutter press expected them to turn up in Estonia and do a job on them. Well Slovenia lost there and they just beat Switzerland in return. Not the greatest performance but three points all the same. Take it and be happy!

  i bet spurs would beat 10 man estonia by more than 1 goal from a free kick though...

  i know 3PTs is 3PTS but really we have just played 93rd ranked team in the world and only won 1-0 AND THEY HAD 10 MEN Ffs this is just shit and shocking football no wonder we are ranked so shit in the FIFA world rankings awful game awful football so disappointing.

  I think there are many issues with the English national team right now, one is the lack of experience that most of them have at the very highest level of the game. If you look at the side then there aren't many players there who have been at the top level, I mean the real top level of the game. Only Rooney has played in a Champions League final, only one of them plays regularly for the current English champions and there are so many players in that squad who have never even played a game in Europe. They are a young team who have had a terrific result in Switzerland and then have backed it up with two wins since. Their inexperience means that they are going to be inconsistent, especially when playing away in foreign environments. The future for the national team does not look too bad, all it needs is some patience!

  Holland have lost to Iceland, Spain to Slovakia and Germany to Poland already in this campaign. In fact the only other top seed with a 100% record so far are Italy, last seen struggling to beat Malta (a far worse team than Estonia).
  
  It does sort of seem a bit harsh to criticise, but I think people are just getting fed up with meh performances. When was the last time we looked properly convincing?
  
  Agree that the future looks fairly promising, but not sure Hodgson is the man to make the youngsters reach their potential. Saying that, not sure who'd do a better job either.

  Now imagine that whilst playing like this instead of winning we were losing or drawing against these sides. Well, now you know what it was like being a United fan whilst Moyes was in charge. It's ok losing/drawing if you play good, attractive, attacking football and there are signs of improvement but if you are losing/drawing whilst playing the complete opposite type of football and showing no signs of improvement then it's just not acceptable and the manager has to go. The only thing keeping Hodgson from being the international Moyes is that he is actually getting the results.
