…or Suarez-watch. For England-at-the-World-Cup’s sake, let’s hope his international form takes a dive but for us, 3/1 on him scoring first looks decent.
Prediction: 0-2 (17/2)
Poland v Scotland 19:45
The Scots have won 3 of their last 4 matches, 2 of them against Croatia, so there’s no reason they can’t get something tonight against a pretty ordinary Poland side. They’re 5/2 for the win as well, versus the Poles at 11/10. Can’t quite get my head around that one but I suppose Lewandowski’s always a danger, and he’s 7/2 to score first.
Prediction: 1-2 (12/1)
R. of Ireland v Serbia 19:45
Ireland don’t score many and Serbia don’t concede many, so how about fewer than 1.5 goals at 13/8? Struggling to call it beyond that though, and with the home side 8/5 for the win versus the away at 2/1 it looks like the bookies are too. Might be best to give this one a wide berth.
Prediction: 1-0 (6/1)
Wales v Iceland 19:45
Word is that Gareth Bale will start, and play 90 minutes, for Wales! Have you ever heard such a thing? He’s in great form at the moment too so 13/2 on him scoring 2 or more looks well worth a go. For Iceland, take a look at Gylfi Sigurdsson at 16/5 any time. Other than that, home win with BTTS (4/1).
Prediction: 2-1 (17/2)
England v Denmark 20:00
We should be OK, shouldn’t we? Can’t say I’m confident to the tune of 13/20 at this stage, all depends which 11 of the 29 start and how long they stay on the pitch. A -2 (9/2) handicap isn’t beyond the right line-up, but let’s wait for the team news before we go diving in. 2 or more for Sturridge at 8/1 is worth a look though, as is Sterling at 12/5 any time.
Prediction: 3-0, hopefully (11/1)
Also, score draw (4/1) in the France v Holland game and a home win (4/7) for Spain v Italy.
Acca: £5 on wins for Uruguay, Scotland, Wales, Spain and England could return over £195!
