  Roy Hodgson has just named his 30-man squad for next week's friendly against Denmark.
  
  There's a call-up for the uncapped Southampton youngster Luke Shaw and Liverpool's Raheem Sterling returns to the fold after some impressive displays of late. Steven Caulker's back in too, most likely as cover for the injured Phil Jagielka, but there's no place for Sunderland's in-form Adam Johnson.
  
  Here it is in full:
  
  Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster, Ben Foster, Joe Hart, John Ruddy;
  Defenders: Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Steven Caulker, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Kyle Walker;
  Midfielders: Ross Barkley, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Frank Lampard, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Raheem Sterling, Andros Townsend, Jack Wilshere.
  Forwards: Jermain Defoe, Rickie Lambert, Jay Rodriguez, Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Welbeck.

  Can't complain can we overall. At least the majority of the English football followers appreciate that we're not a top top team anymore so we can't be unhappy with a list of players being shown. Some great younger talent aswell which is always a nice thought for upcoming world cups and euros especially with some of the younger guys also being quite inform at the moment.

  Yeah there definitely seems to be some good younger players coming through (spesh the Southampton and Liverpool contingents). I'd have had Johnson in, and not sure about Cleverley and Defoe, but otherwise no complaints.

  its only a freindly im telling myself allready to prepare for the what allways happens a crap performance i like the squad the younger ones hopefully will get a shot i wanna see how the young left back gets on and sky spports news have reported three players sat out training today
