Dude claims painkillers turned him gay
A 23-year-old guy who took painkillers after sustaining a go-karting injury insists that the meds made him gay. Yeah ok dude, because that's how sexuality works.
Scott Purdy broke his foot whilst out go-karting with the boys and was later prescribed Pregabalin for the pain. Before taking the meds Scott claims he loved perving over racy pictures of women, but after taking the painkillers he said he lost all sexual attraction to women and even dumped his girlfriend. Scott says: Quote:I noticed my libido for women had gone and I was wanting male attention.I was with a girlfriend I had been with for around six months. I had never been interested in men. When I was younger I was a little bit curious but…A couple of weeks after I started taking it I turned around and said I didn’t find her physically attractive anymore. She knew I was taking Pregabalin.I said to her, ‘I don’t really know what’s happening to me and I told her I like men and I just can’t be with you.’She was relatively understanding, as understanding as you could possibly be. After reading up on the meds, Scott discovered that loss of libido was one of the side-effects. Funnily enough, turning gay wasn't listed. Scott also says: Quote:I just think people should know about this. If anyone gets prescribed this in the future, I think they should know what this medication can do. It took me a while to realise what it was. I stopped taking it for a few weeks and that desire for men just left. But I’m on it now; I’m very happy. I want to keep on taking it because it makes me feel happy about my sexuality. It’s made me feel very open. It’s liberating. I had been taking it for a few weeks and I have come to the realisation that when I take it I want males. It did come as a shock to people. I posted it on Facebook. I didn’t tell them the reason why but I just said to them, ‘I’m open; I’m gay.’ Or maybe you've just always been gay dude?! Scott is currently talking to a guy on Plenty of Fish and is due to meet him for a date next week. Follow me on Twitter: @ReedeFox |

RE: Dude claims painkillers turned him gay
@ Hilary Briss frequently carries packs of these but he keeps then in little metal container that looks like mints. Says it's for a swollen wrist injury.

RE: Dude claims painkillers turned him gay
So this joker is back and thankfully his claims that his meds made him gay are being slammed by doctors, as well as a gazillion other people.
Scott Purdy appeared on TV today and was told by a doctor that it was unlikely that it changed his sexuality. Appearing on This Morning, Scott told Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield that taking painkillers turned him gay and causing him to break up with his girlfriend. This Morning resident doctor Dr Ranj wasn't having any of it though and told Scott it was unlikely that the painkillers 'made him gay', and said that when he took them himself they hadn't made him any 'gayer'. Brilliant! When asked if it was possible that painkillers can make someone gay, Dr Ranj said "In simple terms, no." Scott said that he started taking the painkiller in early February and began to feel attracted to men within days. Dr Ranj said it was more likely that the drug made him feel more comfortable about his sexuality which would explain the sudden change. Dr Ranj said: Quote:What it probably does, is allow you to express whatever was already there. All it has done is allowed you to be your true self. Yup. I think we all knew that didn't we?! The tablets have certainly done something to him. He's turned from James Stunt into Russell Grant.

RE: Dude claims painkillers turned him gay
Now gay painkiller dudes dad has been selling stories. I bet this poor fucker wish he'd never opened his mouth.
The crazy bastard who claimed painkillers 'made him gay,' Scott Purdy must be pretty miffed with his dad right now, who recently rubbished his sons claims by saying his son was always interested in men. 23-year-old Scott Purdy hit headlines this week when he said he started to feel an attraction to men after taking painkiller Pregabalin. He said that just days after taking the drug he begun to have a desire to sleep with men and ended up ending his relationship with his girlfriend. Scott's dad Nigel has confirmed that his son was always bisexual and that he had been 'living a lie'. Ouch! Nigel, who is no longer on speaking terms with his son, told news reporters that Scott had 'experimented' with men during his teens. He said: Quote:I know my son and we have always just assumed he was bisexual, as it turns out he is gay. It's just the way he was, even when he was younger. If it wasn't bad enough that Scott's dad was outing him as a liar, in steps his mum Gail to rubbish his painkiller claims even further. She said: Quote:I was aware of at least one man he had slept with while he was 17. Damn. That's some cold shit right there. Your own parents basically telling the world you're chatting utter bollocks. That's got to be a tough pill to swallow! Follow me on Twitter: @ReedeFox |

We seem to be forgetting the most important part of this story. Has nobody stopped to ask him if his foot is getting better?
