  I think everybody else is watching it ahead of me, i seem to be the only one waiting for it to come on tv lol, i hope it's good, i think that Dexter will probably start the same time as everything else i'm waiting to watch next year.

  yea i dont usually watch it on tv, used to watching stuff on pc now as it is much easier to get and you can rewind and stuff easier and watch it whenever you want :)

  where abouts are you upto mate? and i'll let you know how far behind me you might be as if i tell you where i am i may well accidentally spoil something for you
  
  i used to watch on tv but then a series ended on tv and i looked on-line and realised that the next series had already aired in america so i watched that and that happened with quite a few programs so now if i were to go back to watching on tv here in the uk i'd have to wait a very long time before the episodes on tv caught up with what i had already seen, for example i think burn notice i'm about a series and a half ahead, possibly even two series ahead!
  
  i think the only advantage to watching on tv here is that we don't tend to have to wait for a "mid season break" which most series have in america for some reason. although saying that i have noticed a few series being shown over here have started to have that break as well, i hope it's not a trend that's catching on over here

  when it first started it was very fresh and very watchable. however it has gone somewhat downhill in my opinion it still makes for some good television though.

  i watched the pilot episode for dexter, and i found it sooo fucking boring i literally had no fucking idea what the hell was going on at all, none of the characters were introduced properly

  i wouldn't of thought the characters really needed introducing, it's a pretty straight forward and easy to follow programme imo. i don't think i've ever been confused by what's going on, it's basically dexter is a seriel killer who only kills other criminals

  Slowly - well, actually, very quikly - working my way through dexter. fantastic show - it has quite a few potential pitfuls and cliches - serial killer with a consience, repressed childhood trauma, dad acting as a guardian angel, dark secrets yadda yadda, but its so brilliantly written and acted that they manage to avoid them.
  
  One tinsy wincy criticism...why did the delectable Julie Benz have to leave (i wont give any spoilers away about why she did...)

  i'm fairly certain everyone know's why she leaves, but i do agree she was very hot. if i'm remembering the order things happened in correctly you have the stunning Jaime Murray to look forward too

  Jaime murrays part was very good, helped that she removed her clothes alot aswell lol.
  
  Just out of curiosity how far into the series is everyone now, i'm still waiting for the latest series to be shown on tv it's taking a while, i'd imagine that quite a few of the people on here have already watched the new series online.

  yeah, i've always had a thing from jaime since i first saw her in hustle i think it was, and seen her in a few films etc... and as you say her part in dexter was very good, i think the picture of her with her top off i posted was actually from dexter
  
  i'm one of those people who have seen the newest series already on-line, and it's very good in fact without giving spoilers there's one story development towards then end of it that when it first came up i was sat there thinking "this is messed up even for dexter" lol as i said i won't give spoilers but i just didnt think it would be a story i would ever see on tv, but i've gotta wait for the next series to see what really happens with it
