Unfortunately, and here's where it falls down a bit, he'll need backing from 5 national football associations and have to demonstrate his current involvement in the game before his candidacy is approved.

Think Paddy Power are putting a whole pile of money behind him... plus he's trying to crowd source a couple of million too. All sounds very dodgy... I imagine the odds of him getting the job are going to make Paddy Power a lot of money. But no matter how dodgy it is, it's still better than Sepp Blatter.
