The official release date of season two of Gangs of London has now been released as the 17th November, and with that announcement a new trailer has also been dropped. Given the events of the first season it appears that their is a void in power at the top that numerous rival gangs are seeking to fill.

Prior to it's release next week on Sky, they've released a red band trailer, showing how creatively violent the actions scenes will be this season. It also reveals a bit more about the plot and how the old gangs are trying to take back London, but also how new foe wishes to take the throne too. And in the middle of all this warfare is Sean and the mysterious organisation he works for.

Gareth Evans takes us through another brutally visceral journey through the London underworld of gang warfare, and it's just as great as season one was. We open up this season with the void at the top being filled by the mysterious investors with a new leader called Koba. Some of the families are happy with this arrangement, whilst others are not but they accept it due to them being fearful of Koba. Sean is abroad working for the investors and they need him to return to London. What then happens over the next eight episodes is brilliant and once it concludes it nicely sets up a new status quo for season three. -

At the end of season two things were turned upside down, and now it appears the wrongs that were righted have consequences.
