  here in Straya we get a lot of brit comedy shows , most good but some--well.... anyway, there seems to be the usual cast of comedians doing the rounds, most good,, but some---annoying. was going to watch QI , until discovering phil Jupiter was on. can't handle him. too loud, overbearing, listen to me me me . when he gets a laugh, he'll say similar things 4--5 times. enough!

  also annoying are those that won't laugh at other comedians jokes. as if they and only they are funny. there is a bloke I've seen a few times, but never laughing or joining in, is Milton ?  don't know his surname, always wears loud shirts. he's up himself.

  I think you are talking about Milton Jones, I find him annoying in general but it might be a bit harsh to criticise people for not laughing at others. I consider myself to be quite funny and often make people laugh, but it takes a lot to personally make me laugh. I would rather they were only laughing on the shows when something amuses them rather than act like everything is hilarious.

  I am inclined to agree that mainstream comedy can definitely be too trendy, but I think to some extent that has always been the case. Comedy has always been funnier on the fringes, it is just unfortunate that the 'trendy' comedy is more pervasive than ever because of the access to media
