I love Firefly and Serenity but they killed two of the cast and i really liked the pilot he was cool.

but the chance of there ever being another series is zero,
that is never going to happen, saying that the chance of seeing another serenity film aren't much better,
sadly some films which deserve sequals never get them losers and serenity i think are some of them,
oh and Chillblane mate you may have just given away part of the end of serenity for those that didn't see it lol.

to be fair i think if people haven't watched serenity yet they probably aren't going too.
it's been a while since i watched it but didn't the losers end with a bit of a cliffhanger/ a to be continued type story? might be remembering it wrong but i thought it did. if so that's what really bugs me is when a film is not only really good and deserves a sequel but also sets itself up for a sequel story wise and then you realise you'll probably never get that sequel/explanation but a million over far far worse films will get multiple sequels

also there are some films that are good but in no way need a sequal which still get them, like donnie darko, i really liked that film but the sequal was totally pointless and terrible.

I didn't think anyone hadn't seen Serenity tbh.
As for the Losers, it does leave itself wide open for a sequel due to two things not being resolved by the films end. I had to travel 20 miles to watch the Losers as my local Showecase didn't show it which kind of tells you all you need to know about the likely-hood of there being a sequel.

but yes it is unlikely for a sequal, and even if it made a profit on dvd sales or something it wouldn't of been much so any sequal wouldn't get a big budget and probably wouldn't be able to afford the cast some of which have gone on to bigger roles since then and they would have to offer them more money.
