  Bit confused at the moment. Australia are 69-4 after 9 overs and need 254 to win, but they have to do it in 29.1 overs.
  
  Yet Sri Lanka had their full 50.
  
  Anyone got the foggiest what that's all about?

  It's all about run rates mate, it's not enough just for the win because their r/r is worse ?!?

  Ah ok, thanks for that. I was assuming it was reduced overs to due to bad weather or something, and that it was pretty unfair that Sri Lanka got a full 50.

  Yeah, you've got to make sure you win by a margin, not just a last ball win in these tournaments as run rates play a big part. New Zealand had a huge advantage over Australia which is why they had to win in such a short time, which they have failed to do, so it's up to Sri Lanka now, if they win they go through without having to worry about run rates lol... and they way it is looking as I write this, the Aussies are 206 for 9 so it should be Sri Lankas for the taking.
  
  Also England are now guaranteed top spot, so they will play South Africa in the semis.
  
  Well Sri Lanka made hard work of it but Dilshan takes the last wicket with a crackin catch and win by 20 runs... So now they will play India in the semis.

  Turned out nice for England. Avoided India and the Aussies are out as well.

  Yes, what a crackin start by the England bowlers, a good toss to win, and not a weather worry in sight for today lol...
  Peterson and du Plessis make starts but Anderson and Tredwell see them off, and Ab gets a duck :) ... Tredwell has been good, I wonder if they'll consider him for the test side?
  At the drinks break, SA are 120 for 8 off 29 overs but Miller and Kleinveldt have got their eye in now, so it may be a back end rally. It's a cliché but it's Englands' to win or throw away now...

  So England win by 7 wickets in 37.3 overs with Trott 82 not out and it's on to another final... Can they win this one?
