Similar situation to QPR last season with the amount of new faces. Only difference being whoever comes in at Sunderland will have more time to turn things round than Harry Redknapp did. If Di Matteo or whoever can get a couple of early wins than they'll be up in mid-table, QPR were well adrift by the time they sacked Hughes.
Relegation? Tough one to call really. Depends if the main factor in their poor start was Di Canio or the quality of his signings? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
