RE: Britpop's Best...Apparantly

It's a great list, actually. I loved Brit Pop. I got into it quite young...9-ish, I guess. Am still a massive Reef fan, although I wouldn't consider them Brit Pop. More Brit Rock. Paid good money to see them live a few years back at Shepherds Bush. I have also gotten more into The Super Furry Animals and Supergrass in recent years but always loved them. I also really liked some of the charlatans songs (especially One To Another...), the Bluetones (Slight Return and Marblehead Johnson, mainly) and Kula Shaker who even saw live at a comeback show. Also loved girl fronted bands like elastica, sleeper, Lush, Kenickie and, if it counts, Bis.
Blur, Oasis and Pulp are obvious legends. Even though I actually bought an Oasis album and none by Blur or Pulp, I tend to prefer Blur the best nowadays.
Kind of surprised at the lack of Gomez....is that considered much later...?
oh yeh and primal scream are legends too. I even like their comeback with Star and the weird electro phase.
I also really liked Shed Seven. Sued I appreciated a bit more later.
I also find myself listening to Yes by Mcalmont and Butler every so often.
Surprised there is no Longpigs here. Most amazing band. Never got to see them...wish they were still going.
