  Ok, the guy isnt / wasn't everyones cup of tea but personally i found him very funny in most things he was a part of (Friday night project for one). However, his finest hour (or hours ) in my opinion were as being part of the Bring back series of one off programs. Does anyone else remember these? What dd you think? Was any particular instalment your favourite? I have tracked down all of these with the exception of Bring back..the christmas number one. Rewatched the Bring back..the A Team episode yesterday. Bloody fantastic. Much must have been staged but thats irrelevent. Wish a channel, any channel would resurrect the concept.

  I remember him doing bring back star wars and getting nowhere near any of the really big stars. Not a chance he was going to get near Harrison Ford. But Carrie Fischer was up for it, and I believe he got C-3PO aswell.

  I remember everyone getting a bit bored of his slogan based schtick after a while then it was released that he was quite abusive and shoved his girlfriend into a road in London. Don't think there's much coming back from that.

  I was never a fan of this guy. Just never really found him funny. Then again i dont find alot of comedians to be funny.. maybe they just arent weird enough for my weird mind :P C'est La Vie ^^

  I have a very selective taste as far as comedians go as well, Jose Mourinho (im very much into the likes of Jim Davidson, Jethro, Jim Jefferies, early Eddie Murphy..what can i say, i like my comedy filthy, un pc and to the point). I wasnt a fan of everything JLC did but i loved and still do love these bring back specials. Yeah they had varying levels of success but with such nostalgic shows / films as Grange Hill, Fame, Star Trek, Dallas, The A Team and Star Wars being covered, whats not to like. The show should be resurected (possibly with a differnt host now though as i dont think a lot of people have a lot of time for JLC nowadays given his off screen antics).

  Could never stand Justin Lee Collins, found him to be incredibly annoying and about as funny as getting repeatedly punched in the face. Then it turned out he was a girlfriend abusing arse, which didn't exactly make me dislike him any less than I already do.

  I think it was more the whole premise of the show and the whole set up i found most entertaining. It was a great idea that i feel really could have expanded (theres no shortage of old tv show and mmovies out there after all). The host is integral but given the right host, i dont see why another one / channel couldnt pull this off. Im gutted i cant get hold of the elusive bring back..the xmas number one episode though. I have all others but cant locate that one anywhere.
