  BAMMA is on Syfy channel. Thats the biggest promotion in Europe at the moment and is from the UK. These shows will be on Saturdays with the next event December 10
  
  Check out MMA online as there is so much content on various Video clip sites to get a feel for it.
  
  On FX the UFC, Ultimate Fighter programme is on Thursday 11pm. This follows a bunch of fighters living in the same house, fighting each other until 1 is crowned the Ultimate Fighter and wins a 6 figure contract with the UFC
  
  Its a good show to watch for a noob!

  massive boxing fan here, on those that think khan stands a chance with mayweather no way in a million years ... khan may have one of the best training camps in the world but that doesn't make him a great boxer i reckon i could have taken him if i wasn't forced to quit because of injury and i was good but nothing special ... but mayweather definetly is something special i will pay through the teeth to watch him and pac man fight when it happens (too much money and to many egos at stake for it now to)

  well thats your opinion and the opinion of many!
  
  my thoughts of Khan are not just about his training camp but his size, speed and power!
  
  mayweather dosent like to fight guys who he dosent have the edge over. he has made a career out of fighting within a weight zone he is comfortable at. if the fight with Pacman does happen, he will only agree if its at the very limit of mannie's range.
  
  With Amir Khan, he is at an age that he is just getting stronger so it would be foolish for mayweather to fight him as speed, accuracy and power is a combination he has always struggled with.
  
  And if you think you could've beaten Khan then you must have been a bloody good boxer.

  Dont forget to tune into Shogan Rua v Dan Henderson tonight 2am on ESPN and ESPNHD!
  
  Should be a good fight night as the fight card has some good match ups and the main event should be a great fight!

  yea good call i actually almost forgot about henderson vs shogun. i am rooting for shogun in this fight he is one of my favourite light heavyweights ever next to wanderlei, i love the guy's muay thai style too bad because of current rules will never get to see his stomps again.
  
  i think actually fedor vs monson might on today as well id have to download to watch it tho i think. fedor is not relevant anymore of course but he is the greatest fighter of all time bar none in my opinion so i still wanna see him win, watching him for the first time live is what got me into watching mma in the first place.

  i actually think he is one of the most over rated fighters of the last 10 years! he has a great record thats been padded out with some duff fights, IMHO!
  
  i'm not saying this as a UFC fanboy, but there is only one reason he has such a good fight record, he never signed for that promotion! and yes, it is Dana Whites fault for fucking that up, but he didnt fight a number of guys who would've have beaten him

  most of those guys would not have beaten him if he was fighting them in his prime while they were also in their prime imo, but it doesn't really matter, his record is not the main reason he is the greatest fighter of all time in my eyes.
  
  some of those guys are potentially better fighters than fedor on their day, but no one was ever more dominant under similar conditions in the history of mma. in fact, no one fought under similar conditions. never has a man who has the frame of a middleweight dominated the heavyweight landscape like fedor did for as long as he did and never will this happen again.
  
  obviously thats partly because the heavyweight division is stronger now than it was and its completely subjective how much weight you give to his achievements. but to me, the fact remains that anderson silva walks at 230 lean and he would never even THINK to fight at heavyweight at ANY time let alone for almost ten years, let alone dominate everyone there for almost ten years.
  
  the heavyweight division is different and will never be the same again, but fedor beat everyone put in front of him for a looooong time. that makes him the best of his era, but that era is now in the past.

  not knocking his record and you can only beat whats in front of you! it aint easy winning against top quality guys like he has. i just think the guys on my list could beat him, and would have loved the chance to have seen if he really lived up to the hype. i know i said would've beaten, i should have said could've beaten!
  
  damn, the only International organization he didnt dominate was the UFC. shame Dana couldnt give the fans what they wanted! he thinks he is a shrewd business man. signing him would have been mega money!

  yea its pretty much bad timing though i think. i mean i admit that he was no longer in his prime since the arlovski fight. if only he was 10 years younger he would have been SUCH a superstar it would have been absolutely crazy.
  
  and the thing is, imo he DID live up to the hype. the ufc had weaker heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions while fedor was in pride. big nog and mirko in their primes to me is more than living up to the hype. wanderei and rampage would have been scared to fight fedor, and imo those guys are better than rashad who you have on your list when in their primes.
  
  fedor had close to 30 fights by the time the ufc was on the cards for him, he lived up to the hype and then some by that point.
  the truth is youre right dos santos NOW or even a couple years ago would beat him, but at a the time he could have faced them if he joined the ufc, he wasnt the same fedor anymore.
  
  one thing i will say is that out of big nog, mirko and fedor, big nog has aged by FAR the best. he was champion before fedor, and now hes way more relevant than fedor or mirko when these two are out of it.

  Its the time he left Pride that Dana should've signed him! The Strikeforce guys really were not as good as the Pride or UFC guys imo, but Dana waited and Strikeforce became relevant thanks to him! shows you how 1 man can make a company! when he started to decline, the fans started to leave. its a shame, as the fighters may not have been as gifted as other organisations but they had GREAT fights on Strikeforce.
  
  Shame they have lost there top guys to the bigger brand now Dana Zuffa have bought them out. Competition is healthy for the sport. apart from BAMMA, who else is really growing as an Organization?
