  since i started this thread i havent commented on it lol gunna have to have a read through some the comments and through my opinion in there.
  
  anyway anyone watching the Brock Lesnar vs Alistair Overeem fight tonight i cant wait and been watching the build up to the fight the traning camps etc.. and the war of words before this has the makin of a good fight ..
  
  brock needs to win to get him self back in the game afte the iliness and the the lose agaisnt cain ' if goes to ground i see brock winning but not takin anythink away from Alistair Overeem he got a decent ground game him self ' ' but we know brock hates takin shots i watched Alistair Overeem a few times the guy is a deadly striker ' has the makin of a good fight i wouldnt want to out my money on either a couldnt pick

  looking forward to the fight between lesnar and alistair, gonna be a great showdown two guys from different fighting backgrounds and both wanting the ufc heavyweight championship, personally i want lesnar to win

  Haha booya!!!! Go overeem see I was wondering how that fight would go and it looks like overeem was easily strong enough not to get taken down. I have no clue though what lesnar was doing he looked way too tentative he would have had a better chance rushing in for the takesow full force

  well now we'll be looking forward to alistair overeem against junior dos santos but something tells me that fight is going to take a little while to come together, probably summer 2012 at the very earliest if not later

  Overeem domanated it ' for the get go.. i said my previous comment if brock couldnt get him to ground eaily then its overeem's ' he just shows why he is one the best deadly strikers on the planet' them kicks wer deverstating along with punches ' a cant wait to dos santos vs overeem fight.
  
  brock retiering after the fight i dont blame him for doing that its been a bad year or so for brock with this ilness i personaley think it was to soon to come back if not come back at all but u got to take ya hat off to man he has entertain so with some good fights and its a sensible decision to hang it up for his family & his own health.

  Yeah I do not really like the guy but you gotta respect him coming into the UFC with sonlittle experience and also him coming back after two life threatening illnesses I am certain he was affected in a big way and definitely not his old self coming into this fight

  you could tell i could mate as well you just knew by his body language before the fight and during the fight he wasnt all there it was like he was trying to convince him self that he was back. the is no shame in losing to overeem the guys world class and has more experience than brock ' not takin anythink away from brock a just think it was to soon for him and his decision at end fight a think is best for him n his family.

  Very impressive by Overeem. The only thing that has to be said is that brock did'nt look himself at all, which is fair enough after all the health issues he's had. Very surprised he did'nt just try to get Overeem to the ground as quick as possible as he was never going to win the stand up. Never a fan of Brock but he was exciting to watch. Wonder will he go back to the WWE or just call it a day completely.

  Brock's problem is he really dosent like the fight. if he can wrestle and ground and pound fine, but technically he is shocking. i have been saying since he arrived in the UFC he needs to get to a top boxing gym, like freddie roache or else he will never improve as a fighter. wrestlemania v the undertaker coming up, so he got that to look forward to!
  
  as for overeem, he will be tested if his next fight is dos santos. for my money, i just give it to junior as he is a more rounded fighter and he wont be scared to take the fight to the ground

  i don't know who i would give it to in junior vs overeem because after all the hype lesnar did not test overeem so i still don't know for sure how good/strong he really is. and besides that who does he have recently - duffee? fat werdum laying in front of him spread eagle? so i don't know
  
  i would like junior to win cuz i like him a lot more, he's my fave HW right now.
  
  btw, how COMFORTABLE did overeem look on his UFC debut, no nerves showing at all
