  I'm surprised to see you so convinced that Sonnen will beat Silva. Wrestling is only one part of the fight and Silva has the advantage in both striking and on the ground. Whether he was injured or not in the first fight is impossible to say as fighters often mention injuries after a loss yet if they win it would never be mentioned.

  well i mean to be fair it does make sense him mentioning an injury even after a win because lets be fair he did get owned in that fight and again i'm sure silva is not above making excuses, i'm only saying i think he's way superior to sonnen not that he is very 'honourable' lol

  Silva has shit take down defence against a very good wrestler. and sonnens ground and pound is badass. that is why he wins the fight.
  
  and Timm, silva's camp said those things because they dont like it when the fighter makes them look bad. Do you really think they would allow a fighter to fight injured? and if the injury was that much of a difference between him and sonnen, he would not have been medically cleared. Like I said, they said it.
  
  Sonnen has to beat Munoz, thats the hard fight as they both have excellent takedowns and takedown defence. I tip to Sonnen but Munoz has suprised me more than once thru his career

  Who's watching lesner vs overeem and what are your predictions, I think overeem is way too experienced and will win early 2nd round. Overeem to dominate the division!

  takedown defence means defending the takedown, not trying to take someone down.

  Time for predictions for the weekend. I'd say Khan and Jones will both win. Very predictable I know but I cannot see them losing. Its harder to call the two Nogueira fights as both should be close.

  i am all about the underdogs this weekend though. i badly want machida to win and i really badly want big nog to win as well so i will probably be disappointed. not relevant to the sport but to my possibly impending disappointment is that i really want barcelona to win tonight as well lol
  
  anyway we'll see either way i am really looking forward to this card and just MAYBE MAYBE that arrogant daddy longlegs getting beaten finally.

  Thats what I get for picking two favourites. At least Jones won. He looked a bit unsure in the first round but seemed to relax a bit more in the second. It's hard to see who in the division will beat him as hes going to keep getting better. Though Frank Mir looked very impressive as well bit looks like big nog has been in too many battles and he's not the fighter he once was.

  i think big nog actually looked pretty damn great, since his brendad schaub victory he has looked really dangerous on the feet and that's whats so fukking frustrating - he HAD mir for crying out loud, he was in 100% dominant position totally ready to finish, all he had to do was be patient. instead some freakin unearthly force told him to go for a stupid choke attempt and give up top positoin against a bigger guy, why the hell did he do that cuz that fight was HIS. such an experienced guy too.... a shame

  He definitely made a mistake which Mir fully exploited. Maybe he was determined to prove a point after the first fight, same as Mir. While he's still a damgerous opponent I do think he's not quite the fighter he was (don't mean that to be in any way critical as I'm a big fan).
